So, is environut Richard Greene the illiterate who doesn't know the word "demagogues", or is it the newspaper reporter?

The latte liberals in Hollywood are oh so progressive . . . for high school dropouts.
I wonder if anyone asked that disgusting commie pinko what mode of transport he used to get his ugly self to Aspen.

He's under a haycock,

I shouldn't do this but I get so few chances to link to a good ol' western shootout.
How to solve global warming, the liberal way,
American's need to give up all thier big homes and cars, live in government housing blocks and ride bicycles to work every day. Like China was 30 years ago. They need to drop all religious worship, except that of the state, and eat a diet of 95% GMO vegetables, based on government credits for thier labor. They need to house thier children in government education center schools, buy medicine from government approved pharmacies, and have tracking devices placed in thier homes, on thier person, and in all products that they purchase.
Any failure to comply with any of the above should result in fines, jail sentences, removal of children to child protective services, or execution.
It's a good thing Obambas already on board with this. A little sacrifice by each of us will go a long way to a few vacations in Spain.
Posted by: Knight 99 at August 23, 2010 8:28 PMThis clown is so typical of the far left commie scum of hollywood. We are supposed to listen in awe to these know nothing dorks how live in a role playing fantasy world. They should take a look or a try at life in the real world.
Posted by: Rob C at August 23, 2010 8:34 PMJust goes to show you, even an idiot can make a billion bucks in Hollywood.
Posted by: Dave in Pa at August 23, 2010 8:47 PMDave, shouldn't that read "especially an idiot can make a billion bucks in Hollywood?"
Posted by: AtlanticJim at August 23, 2010 9:45 PMJames Cameron calling people scum?
That's pretty rich, coming from the man who not only stole the story for The Terminator, but then boasted at a party of what he'd done.
I am increasingly convinced that the main reason Hollywood celebrities loudly tout these crackpot causes, all the while condemning those who disagree, is that they are swine, they know they are swine, and they are desperately trying to prove to themselves and to the world that they are not swine.
We all know that Hollywood is chock full of drug addicts, thugs, bums, and thieves, but maybe if they all lecture us about baby seals and ocean levels we'll stop noticing.
Posted by: pst314 at August 23, 2010 10:07 PMRob C nails it and describes the Camerons to a T.
Posted by: Ken (Kulak) at August 23, 2010 10:26 PMHypocrites you say ?
A few years ago I remember reading a piece explaining that making movies in Hollywood was making a larger carbon foot print than ANY other industry.
Wish I had kept the URL...

Posted by: Daniel Ream at August 23, 2010 11:02 PMLC Bennett 8:07 - I salute you! I tried linking to that very scene once on a thread about the Arizona illegal immigrant law; sadly it got caught in ye olde filter.
In other news, the love story in Titanic was just brutal, and James Cameron should be nuked from orbit.
Posted by: Black Mamba at August 23, 2010 11:21 PMIt's the only way to be sure.
Posted by: Daniel Ream at August 24, 2010 12:22 AMKudos for the guy persevering. The AGW lobby needs to be confronted and engaged on debate whenever and whereever possible. For every disrespectful lout who interfered with his presentation I bet there were five others in the audience who had their faith in AGW and its proponents at the very least shaken.
We have the facts on our side and we are winning. Our opponents get more shrill and are revealed to be more corrupt as each day passes. All we need to finish the job is to maintain our integrity, our decorum and persistence.
Posted by: Gord Tulk at August 24, 2010 1:09 AMSadly this ignorant nutcase will continue to do damage due to his "elite" status as a film maker. I could ignore the whole thing, after all he's simply another waste of protein, but he's apparently got his hands on the rights to redo "Forbidden Planet." This saddens me. This fool will eventually turn a classic I've long loved into another AGW anti western civilization piece of crap.
Posted by: JD at August 24, 2010 1:37 AMIt would never dawn on Cameron to think about the carbon footprint it took to accumulate the wealth that he has. I'd wager to say that with my meagre earnings, my carbon footprint / $ earned is far less than his. As well,my dollar spent to maintain my lifestyle would have a smaller foot print than his.
Hypocrite??
Nawww.....
Not one more cent to see anything of his making.

Posted by: pkuster at August 24, 2010 6:42 AMIt is requires many Pints of Guinness to try to keep up with the Neo Commies thought process. All that blather and it ends with a anti Afghanistan rant.
Posted by: Ford Prefect at August 24, 2010 7:44 AMCameron and the MSM whores got what they wanted:
Lots of screams and name calling at the 'deniers' in preparation for the faux debate (Tough sounding "show down") which would be published and uploaded by the soundbite absorbing zombie masses.
The last minute cowardly cancellation (With little MSM publication) would only be picked up by people like us who are already convinced of it being total scam.
Pure Alinski 101.
Food for Thought:
Cameron went to the White House during the BP oil spill to offer help. It was reported they refused with thanks.
Right after, Cameron became very vocal about AGW/Climate change.
Is there a link? Did the George Soros WH apparatus tell Cameron to help the Cap & Trade objective? During the BP spill for maximum effect?

Titanic was good but nothing beats a good western. It is one of the few genres that have resisted being politically correct. Tombstone is a favorite of mine (I think it's because of all those handlebar mustaches). Oh, and Sam Elliot's killer voice.
Posted by: LC Bennett at August 24, 2010 11:17 AMSounds to me like he really believed in AGW until he started boning up on the issue in preparation for the debate and realized the skeptics were right. Either that or the other guys on his side asked him if he was out of his mind and informed him that it's really all a scam
Posted by: Dirtman at August 24, 2010 11:43 AMLC Bennett - it's those long duster coats. I love them.
And I only like the part in Titanic where the boat sank; now that was well done.
