Perhaps I don't appreciate the influence of the blogs, but if this Journolist Expose does not make it out into the mainstream media, is it ever going to get exposed? Is this so huge that even Fox is not leaping on it?

At the end of WWII, it was widely said that: "The Germans are perfectly nice people, very much like you and me, they were just manipulated by the Nazi propaganda machine."

Needless to say, every power hungry jackass in the world was eager to find out just how to put this machine to work for themselves.

Add to this several decades of Madison Avenue's development of the art of persuasion, and ... voila! ... we find ourselves with a complete and utter fraud in the White House.

I subscribe to one on-line newspaper with a conservative viewpoint but, to tell you the truth, I find more factual information on blog sites. If it wasn't for bloggers we would all be under the thrall of the MSM and their "progressive" propaganda.

Has anyone noticed, what I feel, is a distinct change in the tone of the comments at the National Post on national political stories in the last few days?
It all seems a little too organized against the Cons.

Rednik, I too suspect a major shift in the NP. I'm seriously considering canceling my subscription even though it has some excellent commentators.

ODR - my point was if you interview 100 people on the street about journolist - of those that know about it, half would say it's no big deal.

I don't like what they did, but as always, the left-wing is viewed as morally superior, and therefore any means to their end is acceptable in their eyes.

My Mind's Playing Tricks On Me.

Common dead horse I like to beat, Canadians simply do not comprehend just how deep the lies go that we've been told about the USA. By both the Canadian MSM -and- the American MSM, AND Hollywood, AND "modern" literature (Steinbeck anyone?), AND a few other places like public school and university.

I went and lived there, and I discovered almost -everything- I thought I knew about the United States was complete wrong. I'd come home for Christmas and watch TV, and laugh hysterically at the insane spin on the stories.

That's why I don't watch TV -at all- and I don't read the papers -at all-, because I realize by doing so I'm being indoctrinated in somebody else's agenda and DIS-informed about the world.

Journolist is merely a little peek behind the curtain to see how the agenda is pursued. We still don't have a grip on how the agenda is SET, nor upon who does the setting. The recent Codevilla article in the American Spectator makes a good run at it, but what I'd like to see are names and organizations and amounts of money on a ledger.

Journolist is like busting a bunch of street pushers while the kingpins stay hidden. Worth pursuing certainly, but not the whole story by a long shot.
