Left wing media are like mulies. Soon right wing media will have to "draw" for opportunities to make the left look ridiculous because it's just too easy.

I'm not sure if it's the same clip, but I think Canadians might be able to find it here beginning at 6:00.

And he's wrong why?

Posted by: BTJ at July 28, 2010 3:18 AM

I would think that (as a white man) listening to a women exonerate herself for her racist feelings and casually referring to 'his people' would make me a tad uncomfortable.

Can you imagine the crucifixion that would have taken place if a white women spoke in front of a white audience and told a morality tale of how she felt like denying benefits to a black man? Because her father was murdered by blacks?

The underlying meme would not be one of redemption, but of fear of blacks and systemic white racism.

Posted by: Kursk at July 28, 2010 5:43 AM

It simply blows me away (though I guess it shouldn't by now) that the media had such an eagerness to label tea party protestors as racist, bigoted and hateful individuals that they jumped on the slightest unproven accusations as they were made. Yet Sherrod, who openly admits to having harboured racist attitudes, is not only given a free pass but is actually celebrated as a martyr! The same anderson cooper who openly and offensively labelled protestors as 'tea baggers' while on air ran an entire segment on how the right openly conspired to ruin this woman's good name. Never mind the fact that if a white individual said the same things, as kursk stated, the theme would not be one of overcoming racial bigotry but of 'systemic white racism'.

The asylum is truly being run by the inmates. God held us all...

@ BTJ

I don't think the implication is that he's wrong.
It's just that the things that Beck has been going on about are, eventually, being confirmed by those who think Beck's a nutter.

I was looking forward to watching The Truth burn in Jon Stewart's mouth, but Viacom censored it.

Dang.

You can still watch it using the Via link.

Sorry-

But we had to fire the copyright department.

John Stewart on the Obama White House: " ... it's like their management style is upside down." AND, he wasn't joking ...

It's good to see the left-lib media turning on Obam-bam. But, what the Hell took them so long? He's taking us all down.

Two or three years ago, Beck was the only one talking about the bizarre beheading crime wave on the US/Mexican border.

Today?

Ok, went to the Comedy Central link, saw the clip, still waiting for Jon Stewart to have The Truth burn in his mouth. I'm not holding my breath though. According to Jon Stewart, Andrew Breitbart may be the most truthful one because he's openly declared he wants to take down the institutional Left, making his posting of this video part of his declared war on the Obamanation. Sure.

One problem, Shirley Sherrod has only been confirming her questionable beliefs regarding race since the origional video aired. Every time she opens her mouth its to scream RACIST! at Fox News, who as we know aired the tape -after- she was fired. The Whitehouse was right to fire her post haste.

Besides, they probably know -plenty- of crazy sh1te she's done besides that video. THAT'S WHY THEY HIRED HER!!! Bet there's a whole bunch of skeletons trying to get out of that closet.

Jon Stewart remains a tool of the regime, and a putz. With a really bad beard.

For more on the story of how the video came into being, and those skeletons waiting (as The Phantom said), a full Breitbart interview with Michael Savage:

Kathy makes an important point here, too. Mexican drug cartels are cutting each other's heads off in Mexico and leaving dead bodies in the Arizona desert, but the White Men hunting the head-chopping, corpse-leaving drug cartels in the Arizona desert are... heroes? Brave patriots? Nervy extreme sports types in it for the thrill? P1ssed off locals protecting their families"

Nope. They are Neo-Nazis. SeeBS said so.

I don't think this particular MSM/reality disconnect can be spread widely enough or fast enough, my friends.

Posted by: The Phantom at July 28, 2010 10:39 AM

Many conservative sites are getting the Leibowitz take on the Sherrod video completely wrong. The usual heading is something like "Jon Stewart Defends Andrew Breitbart". Anything but.
So maybe Shirley Sherrod is now just a race-baiting Marxist, instead of a race-hating Marxist. (She retains that peculiar Sixth Sense: I see racist people.) That's progress, for a lefty. Perhaps 25 years in the future, she will give up the baiting and the class warfare as well. However, she would still need to convince her husband and the rest of the NAACP to follow suit.

Posted by: OMMAG at July 28, 2010 7:39 PM

Thye don't have to tell ya, BTJ. They merely make a statement to make the rest of the bobbleheads here start bopping.

Leave'em alone. They're circle-jerking.

Posted by: reginakd at July 28, 2010 8:14 PM

Dear trolls bjt and reginawhatever, OMMAG is refering to the Mexicans cutting people's heads off, as mentioned by Kathy Shaidle and mentioned again by myself in this thread. Beck was on that story when it broke in 2007, the New York Times just caught up.

You boys really do need every damn thing spelled out for you, don't ya?

So, do you two retards still think only Nazis live in Arizona, or has this new federal court decision planted a seed of doubt? Wait until the AZ locals start doing their armed patrols in columns of a couple hundred men, you'll see the ObamaNation go freakydeaky.

"Haven't been paying attntion .... have you little man?"

Please, ENLIGHTEN ME! Funny how often some of you make unbacked claims and when asked to elaborate and give examples you just say things like the above. I don't want to read some lame comeback or insult, I want examples.

"refering to the Mexicans cutting people's heads off, as mentioned by Kathy Shaidle and mentioned again by myself in this thread. Beck was on that story when it broke in 2007, the New York Times just caught up."

That's it? That's the genius of Glenn Beck?

"You boys really do need every damn thing spelled out for you, don't ya?"

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! This place can be pretty damn funny!

BTJ, you're mistaking this site for Rabble.

You're waaaaaay behind in both facts and comprehension. Advice: keep clicking SDA links and learn, quietly, or go away. You're just making a fool of yourself. We've dealt with 100s of your types, who excitedly spew out all the inane, predictable leftwing comments and insults we can recite in our sleep. You trolls never take the time to work out the whole context, you never look beyond your own prejudices against people who think differently than you, and you've swallowed too much Mainstream Media/Hollywood/Academia propaganda about evil right-wingers to have original or clear thoughts. You're SUCH a mainstream, mundane, non-radical poseur and we're bored with your type.

You're in over your head.

Posted by: ann at July 29, 2010 8:02 AM

"You're waaaaaay behind in both facts and comprehension"

Haha...riiiight. That's it...I'm so behind I just can't understand...its not that no one can give any examples or that no one has much of a clue as to what they're talking about.

"keep clicking SDA links and learn"

Even funnier.

'predictable leftwing comments"

You mean people who don't partake in the echo chamber of opinion? Wouldn't that be nice, if no one ever challenged anything?

Posted by: BTJ at July 29, 2010 1:24 PM

BTJ,

SDA is obviously refreshing and interesting to you because you're finally coming across different opinions from the leftwing drabness that you've imbibed all your life. So you excitedly post things here and think you're getting digs in.

It's all new to you. Yeah! Enjoy it. You do amuse us a little with comments you think are fresh and original . . . eventually, however, you're just boring.

Posted by: ann at July 29, 2010 1:44 PM

"SDA is obviously refreshing and interesting to you because you're finally coming across different opinions from the leftwing drabness that you've imbibed all your life."

It's interesting, yes...refreshing? Not so much. I enjoy seeing the views of people on issues...the links aren't anything unique or mindblowing..I've usually heard about most of the threads before I read them.

Why does anyone who does not go along with the popular opinion on here automatically qualify as a leftwing?
