Lemme be absolutely sure I've got this one right now: the maggot NOW has two dimensions, as opposed to the one dimensional egg?

When do the maggots become three dimensional, Dave? Is it when they're 10th level or when they finally become humans?

Whoa...that is, like, so...ummm...

FAR OUT, man!

Good line, JWA. (To anyone who heard Suzuki's comments in the video.)

Posted by: Soccermom at April 29, 2010 1:20 AM

Hero of the CBC, is it any surprize. Cut the funding Mr. Harper this garbage purveyor scam artist has been publically funded for to long by us hard working tax paying Canadians who are sick and tired of this stinking lieberalism draining us. From Clifford Olsens pension and free dental to Paul Bernardos weekend humpfests and Quebecs constant welfard bum status, and this crooks taxpayer funded mansions flushing his sewers into the Pacific we are all broke.

Posted by: bartinsky at April 29, 2010 1:22 AM

There's absolutely no need for that, John Begley. Tzatziki is one of the most delightful sauces extant, particularly with grilled lamb and onions, and it certainly can't be compared in any way with David Suzuki.

How dare you...

Posted by: EBD at April 29, 2010 1:24 AM

So, is Suzuki content with eating the excrement of Al Gore? 'Cause ol Al is at least a level five, maybe has ascended to the sixth level of maggotdome!

I wonder if the Goracle knows this? I also wonder what he eats, because it sure has a lot of calories!!! Must be pretty "rich" food!

Posted by: glacierman at April 29, 2010 1:26 AM

On the one hand he is just an exemplar of the culture at that time.
On the other, my Dad did drugs, too, but he went to work every day in 1972.

What a waste David Suzuki is.
If only he had chosen Engineering instead of Biology.
And crap Biology at that.
People had studied fruit flies for years before he got there.

The most important field of the last forty years has been electronics.
Not fruit flies.

Posted by: Andrew at April 29, 2010 3:59 AM

I lost all respect for Dr. Fruitfly after he gave a talk at U of 0 which was, like, an hour of this really heavy shit man. About 10 minutes into it I concluded that he was a moron and not seen anything that he's done which would make change my opinion since then. This talk he gave was in the early 70's when I was in my environmentalist phase but disagreed with other environmentalists when I thought nuclear power was the most ecologically friendly way to go.

Posted by: loki at April 29, 2010 4:01 AM

What? Dave's not here man

Posted by: kelly at April 29, 2010 4:02 AM

I interviewed Suzuki 3 years ago after he made a presentation in my city. I questioned him about AGW and he got extremely rude and flustered. The idea that a man like him who spews such nonsense and holds Rachel Carson (a mass murderer) in high esteem, makes me sick.

Posted by: John at April 29, 2010 4:50 AM

I'm just wondering how many hits of acid he dropped b4 he had the epiphany that "we are all fruit flies" and evolve into "10 levels of maggots."

Did he eat what the other maggots defecated during that trip? What level of maggot is Suzuki -does he have "big wheels?"

Man, That was heavy...real heavy

Amazing wisdom from the Fruit Fly Pimp, he learned so much from assisting fruit flys to breed. Why do we give him and CBC a pass on this scam. Do you wonder why we get endless reruns of "The Nature of Things on the CBC main channels and on CBC Documentary channel. Well when CBC sits on the Board of Directors for the Suzuki Foundation, you have to pay back somehow. So the CBC funnels Tax Dollars to the Suzuki Foundation by running his shows endlessly. Here is the connection. I'll pay you for sitting on my Board of Directors, and you pay me for running my shows endless, until everybody in Canada is brainwashed. It is a good similitude though, maggots living off of the body (politic) working for the government, getting paid by the taxpayer, eating the excrement of others who have gone before. They certainly were a maggoty looking bunch of losers, literally all of them living of the big tit. or teaching our children their drivel.

Posted by: larben at April 29, 2010 8:30 AM

Maggots can be very useful. Parasites OTOH not so much. Suzuki is definitely the latter.

Posted by: wallyj at April 29, 2010 8:37 AM

I found it interesting at 22 to 40 second marks. Does this mean that he is pro-life? This clip should be played for pro-life displays - yet at the same time, everything else he says could be compared to maggot intelligence on everything.

(Sorry, I thought the pro-lifers had some support here.)

Posted by: eastern paul at April 29, 2010 9:27 AM

David(the victim of white oppression) Suzuki probably imagines he's a tenth level maggot.

The reality is there are lots of higher level maggots, like Al Gore, and George Soros, and the king maggot of them all, Maurice Strong, and Suzuki, a level four at best, eats ALL their defecation.

That scene is SO revealing about the 60's, and so typical! I remember wherever you went, especially at universities, there was always some charismatic huckster with a group of worshipping young people around him.

Most of them were trying to just hustle young girls into the sack, but Suzuki had higher aspirations, power.

Posted by: dmorris at April 29, 2010 9:35 AM

So self reliant and independent humans are maggots according to Suzy?

Would'nt that confirm that Socialist humans are parasites?

Posted by: Right Honorable Terry Tory at April 29, 2010 9:41 AM

Most of them were trying to just hustle young girls into the sack, but Suzuki had higher aspirations, power.

And an embarrassingly tiny Asian dick eh man?

Posted by: Abe Froman at April 29, 2010 9:47 AM

...So parasites cannot exist without maggots.
It is to note that maggots are an endangered species since WWII; as every 1 maggot sucessfully breeding another maggot, 3 parasites have latched to their maggot host in the form of Government servants or other.

I think after Trudope, Suzy is the second Canadian I hate the most...This BTW is an example of a tenth level parasite (Trudeau) breeding a new parasite at the time (Suzuki)

But what's not funny is that these dope-fuelled hippies are currently at the "10th" level in government (see White House); the universities (see U of Ottawa prez Allan Rock; Bomber Bill Ayers in Chicago's university system; FLQ's Killer Rose in Quebec's institutes of higher learning, CBC-TV's Commie nest, etc. etc.) How much damage will they have done to our precious culture before this horrendous hangover passes?

I'd like to point out that Suzuki was born way the hell back in 1936. So in this clip from 1972, when he was babbling about maggots like a stoned teenager, Canada's National Treasure was already THIRTY-SIX years old!

BTW, a conservative friend of mine tells me that as Toronto teen in late '70s, his high school's Genetics textbook was by David Suzuki. So I asked him if he remembered the book as being any good -- and also if it contained a chapter entitled "Genetics and the Inhuman and Illegal Internment of Japanese-Canadians by the Racist Canadian Government During WWII"?

My friend's reply:

"No, but the chapter on Irving Layton's reproductive cycle was enlightening."

TED (Taylor Nichols) - Maybe this will help. Take these ants. In the US view, a small group, or cadre, of fierce red ants... have taken power and are oppressing the black ant majority. The stated US policy is to aid those black ants... opposing the red ants, in hopes of restoring democracy... and to stop the red ants from assisting comrades in neighboring ant colonies.

RAMON (Pep Munne) - That is the clearest and most disgusting description of US policy I've ever heard. The Third World is just a lot of ants to you. Those are people dying, not ants!

TED - You don't understand. I was reducing everything to ant scale. The US included. An ant White House, an ant CIA, an ant Congress, an ant Pentagon.

RAMON - Secret ant landing strips... illegally established on foreign soil.

FRED (Chris Eigeman) - Where are the red ants?

TED - There.

FRED - (flattens ants with rock)

TED - That was terrible.

FRED - You're blowing it way out of proportion. Those red ants were bad news. They weren't good for anybody.

TED - I was trying to convince them to look at Americans in a new way. Then, in one stupid move,
you confirm their worst assumptions.

FRED - I didn't confirm them, I am their worst assumption.

TED - Now Ramon is certain you are CIA. ''Where are the red ants?''

FRED - It was a joke! ...I won't apologize. The little bastards got what they deserved.

As related on this site before, I was at a speech he gave at the U of R in 1984 (quite by accident...but that's besides the point).

Dr. Suzuki talked about how there were far too many people alive on the planet and his solution was to force everyone back into log cabins, deny them access to modern technology including medicine and let mother nature's law of survival whittle mankind's numbers to under 1 billion. It was utter madness and I left disgusted and disillusioned in a person that the CBC was selling as a voice of scientific reason.

Now that I see a much earlier summary of his basic philosophy on mankind, the puzzling U of R experience makes perfect sense. Dr. Suzuki was always an anti-development mankind hating individual. The CBC in all probability knew that too and for all these years has been complicit in allowing Dr. Suzuki to advance his extremist cause on the taxpayer's dime.

It only goes to emphasize what we all know when it comes to the value of the CBC to Canada: FIRE THEM ALL!!!
