Have an "Environmentalists get in FREE" day at the Berlin zoo, and open the door to the polar bear enclosure.

But we want to protect the polar bear population in the WILD from dangerous imminent human overpopulation of the Arctic.
I therefore suggest dropping climate "scientists" and the Suzuki wing of the environmental movement off near the North Pole in the dead of winter.
Posted by: Waterhouse at February 23, 2010 12:29 PMI guess you didn't click my "diet" link.

Can they stoop any lower?
I would suggest diet but all the junk the eco-freaks eat and wear would be fatal to a bear if consumed.
Posted by: Joe at February 23, 2010 12:56 PMBoth parts of the question are bogus.
The polar bear is not threatened, and humans are not over-populating.
To sell it to the greenies we need a slogan that can fit on a bumper sticker for their Prius. How about "Save a seal, feed a polar bear, personally"?
In response to Joe's comment "I would suggest diet but all the junk the eco-freaks eat and wear would be fatal to a bear if consumed" I must respectfully disagree.
Wouldn't the organic tofu burger eating greenie be a better snack than those of us who eat crisp bacon, GM foods that may have trace pesticides and drink milk that might have growth hormone in it? Wouldn't want to poison the poor cuddly bears after they've ripped you to bits, would we? Any way you slice 'em greenies are healthier fodder for ursus maritimus and the rest of won't have to listen to their caterwauling.
One of these for every environmentalist with a belief in population-control agenda

Posted by: John at February 23, 2010 1:17 PMI'm thinking Kumbiya walk-abouts north of Churchill would be a good start.
Load up a 'gaggle' v.(to gag) of greenies onto a snow tractor and take them out on the ice. Drop them off in seal area, go back, another load etc.
Numbers people, remember numbers make the difference,
Posted by: robins111 at February 23, 2010 1:28 PMAh yes... I can see "diet" being the new fad for white liberals. I can see them lining up around the block to martyr themselves for their riotous cause.
How do you reward a white liberal for their ultimate sacrifice? Maybe a promise of 72 d1lld0$ in the afterlife.

GMO food is not poisonous, toxic or otherwise hazardous. In fact it is usually more nutricious than traditional varieties.
This anti-GMO foods nonsense is baseless and standard Greenie boilerplate, Koolaid.
Shame on you. You are a great disappointment.
Posted by: sasquatch at February 23, 2010 8:50 PMDear Sasquatch, unfortunately there is no sarcasm font. I was trying to use the greenies own myths against them, ie the myth that GM foods are bad for Gaia etc and that if everyone ate organic foods the world would be a better place. I am well aware that in the real world, as opposed to the greens imaginary one, if all the GM seeds, pesticides and herbicides were not used crop yield would drop by 50%.
I am also aware that the greens have been killing a million people per year since the mid '60s when the ban on DDT began, based on one flawed, unproven report.
P.S. There is no 'c' in 'nutritious' or 'nutrition'.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to the cafeteria for a bacon bagel. Cheers,
Posted by: Al_in_Ottawa at February 24, 2010 9:54 AMDiet, definitely diet. During arctic survival training, the first rule one learns is “nerver eat the liver of a polar bear”.
Posted by: glasnost at February 24, 2010 10:12 AMAlmost forgot; the second rule "don't eat yellow snow".
