Christians only want to bomb the World with the Bible with the Word of Jesus.
No stoning, explosives or death worshiping allowed.
I love satire.
sometimes I wonder what would happen if folks, and by that I mean "folks in general", started to say things like "but I'm not muslim" when questioned regarding the status of their luggage... of course anyone in an official capacity can see what's in my luggage, I'm just saying you're not going to find anything too interesting.
Posted by: marc in calgary at December 30, 2009 12:23 AMThe "Religion of Peace" uses bombs to change the world because they serve an impotent god that needs people to defend him.
Radical Christians seek to change the world one heart at a time serving a powerful God that needs no defence.

Posted by: 'biff at December 30, 2009 12:37 AMOf course!
Unfortunately, this bit of satire is probably too high-minded for some.
I guess the only question that remains in my mind is, when will North America wake up?
beer and popcorn - yes they (we) will
Posted by: Erik Larsen at December 30, 2009 1:18 AMCome to think of it, we haven't seen waves of nuns bus bombing, or derailing trains off trestle bridges into the gorge below.
To hell with modesty, strip searches for everyone...privacy what privacy?
Yep, them Christian pacifists are just the worst for terror attacks. Put down them RPGs, and 50 cal Vulcans, and SAMs, crack a beer, and open up the book to Revelation...the Apocalypse cometh.
Hey, peace man...
Cheers

At this point I have to wonder what it will take to turn the media and liberals against Islam. A nuclear weapon in NYC? I'm not sure that would even be enough.
Posted by: ferrethouse at December 30, 2009 2:31 AMAnd don't forget the clean underwear! You never know when you may have to bend over for the customs guy/gal.
Posted by: CRB at December 30, 2009 2:34 AMDavid Zucker predicted the underwear bomber over a year in advance!
Not to put ideas into peoples heads or anything but I think we must burn him for he be a witch!
Posted by: Ardvark at December 30, 2009 3:10 AMI fully intend to fly with no underwear...then they don't need to inspect it!
Posted by: mecheng at December 30, 2009 4:15 AMI say you have bacon biscuits or something, and offer them at the screening. They refuse, well, you check for suppository bombs. Sorry rabbi, but you know that suppository bombs are coming.
We have to find some other way to look for terrorists, because looking for bombs is a dead end.
Posted by: tim in vermont at December 30, 2009 6:15 AMcal2 is right: last time I was at O'Hare, their were airport screeners and security in burkhas. The only thing missing was the little screen/eye mask.
And as I wrote earlier this year, Nonie Darwish was told off by a Muslim security guy at Pearson Airport when he found out she was here to give an anti-Sharia talk. He said to her gravely "We must never question the Koran."
This is a guy who could likely access all her personal info, and alert other Muslim employees at Pearson of her presence. Hell, maybe he was even armed.
Feel safer now?
Posted by: Kathy Shaidle at December 30, 2009 7:20 AMAs mentioned in earlier items on this subject, do what the Israelis do: look for terrorists.
Posted by: Texas Canuck at December 30, 2009 7:37 AMThe airlines must be pissed.
They oughta be able to lean on the Fascists enough to ease this nonsense.
Glad to see the El Al guy getting some air time.
Posted by: pok at December 30, 2009 7:37 AMFerrethouse: Nuclear, schmuclear, it won't matter. It'll still be our fault--wish I could believe otherwise.
Happy New Year, anyway. :)
I have always enjoyed the irony of being in the slow lineup of honest civilians being disarmed by security people named Mohammed and Amir.
Having said that, what a colossal waste of time and resources.
Posted by: Halfwise at December 30, 2009 8:31 AMWhere did this hilarious -- though a little too close for comfort -- video come from?
That nun was a hoot!
Ya gotta wonder how we in the West can be so blind to the real threat to our security ... Sure, sure, those Christians can be brazen and annoying, but it's the Muslim terrorists that are going to blow us up -- and they're not all over in the ME.
What's it going to take to wake us up? A bomb at Pearson? On an Air Canada flight? A loved one being blown to smithereens?
Posted by: batb at December 30, 2009 8:34 AMI think it's from the movie 'An American Tale'. It's the story about a Michael Moore type who gets visited by ghosts and has a patriotic change of heart.
Posted by: soup at December 30, 2009 9:25 AMShould be 'An American carol'.
Posted by: soup at December 30, 2009 9:36 AMThe only thing missing in this video is a 'Muhammed' character in full Islamic garb laden with explosives and knives receiving smiles and bows from TSA workers and allowed a free pass.
Now THAT'S reality biting you in the ass.
Posted by: Doug at December 30, 2009 10:38 AMWhile the intelligence of conservatives is constantly called into question, one really has to ponder the IQ of the media and academia when it comes to Christianity versus Islam. Do they think their kind will somehow be exempt from sharia law? Female academics and reporters will don tablecloths at home just like the rest of us.
Posted by: Mazzuchelli at December 30, 2009 12:03 PMAll we have to do is get the bomb sniffing dogs at the airports and there will be a whole lot less of this thing happening.
Oh! wait, the handlers would all have to be white/Christians as those filthy dogs cannot be allowed to touch the Muslims.
Is this why we don't have any at the airports currently? Got to check into this, someone!
Posted by: glacierman at December 30, 2009 12:26 PMI liked the satire. It helps marginalize the lunatic fringe of the left that protects and apologizes for Islam with insane moral relativism. However, the West won't begin to defend against creeping Islam until we can freely satirize Islam without multiple killings and HRC-like self censorship actions in response. The sight of a Burka or Hijab in the West should be met with a Danish Cartoon-like T-shirt. The message should be: get out of the Seventh Century or get out of the West. Otherwise, Shariah is only a generation or two away, at most. Freedom of worship should not extend to a pathology which inevitably leads to theocracy. If Muslims can reform to prove otherwise, great.
Posted by: John G Chittick at December 30, 2009 1:00 PMon this latest set of terrorist acts
I wonder how this will affect the Lieberals, CTVtass and CBCpravda's push to bring back the worst spawn of the first family of Canadian terrorism. that puke Omar Khadr.
or send him to Saudi to learn hippy macrame, he can fit himself to a noose and use it.
Posted by: cal2 at December 30, 2009 1:17 PMIf I wanted shari I would ask her for a date.
I make sure when I see a woman in a burka or a hijab I let her know she doesn't have to submit any more. All they ever do is give me dirty looks and scurry away, kinda like rats or cockroaches when you shine a light. ...and the hrc can kiss my entire ass!
Posted by: FREE at December 30, 2009 1:47 PMApparently eye witnesses are saying the FBI are remaining silent about arresting a second man on the flight and are withholding a surveillance video from the Amsterdam airport showing the suspect in a dazed condition being escorted onto the flight by a "well dressed man".
There has also been no official explanation as to how the suspect with no no check-in luggage and on a terror watch list bought a one way ticket to th US - or the identity of another mysterious man seen calmly filming the entire flight, including the botched bombing attempt, with a video camera.
Combined with the inability of counter terrorist security to cope with this clownish attempt, the whole incident doesn't pass the sniff test.

Posted by: Jim at December 30, 2009 2:51 PMThe skit would be purely ridiculous if not for the fact that the "there are Christian terrorists too" meme is consistently floated, as an apparently serious argument, whenever someone points out the threat of Islamic terrorism.
Btw, Kevin Farley, the actor playing "Michael Malone" in the skit, is, along with Dennis Hopper, Tom Selleck, Jon Voight, and James Woods, one of the few openly Republican actors in Hollywood.
