Today in Chapters Book Store.

A fifty-ish guy (managerial type, I believe) was arranging, checking the shelves.

I have NEVER, EVER witnessed a person get so defensive and so steaming mad within the space of a few minutes.

I asked him if he had 'Going Rogue' ?

He handed it to me saying "Hope she never is President'.

I said, well at least she is not taken in by the biggest scam the world has ever seen, unlike the present one.

The more I peppered him with 'common knowledge' questions, (the likes of which appear at sda daily) the redder his face became.

Between the books we stood, face to face. He responded with typical liberal-fascist remarks. We have Mein Kampf if that is what you would like. He knew nothing of the CRU scandal or Al Gore's lies.

Or maybe he did - and the truth hurt.

Before he walked away I was wondering if he was going to take a swing at me. I have never been the scrapping type but I sure as he!! was ready to take on this jerk.

It's a keeper!

Those would be Camco Carbon Trading shares stuffed in Al as Santa's bag, would they?

Hey Ron,

Have you ever noticed how in Chapters stores all the greenie/lefty rags are prominently displayed and anything at all considered right wing or conservative friendly is hidden behind the latest Obamapalooza or Gore fish wrapper? Do what I do and rearrange the layout of the books!

At least the Chapters in Sherwood Park had Going Rogue in the feature display.

Here's hopin the good missus picked up on my hints that I really want a copy of the Palin book!

Hannity came right out today and called this a scam and a hoax and a few other things. If I find it on u-tube I will post.

Even O'Reilly seems to be changing his tune.

Eskimo, yesterday I was checking out a bookstore I'd never noticed before; part of the stock were used and the rest, new. Ignatieff's "True Patriot Love" was on the shelves, a book by Paul Martin, and of course "Just Watch Me" about Pierre Trudeau. I saw nothing to which I could relate, except for two copies of Alice Munro's short stories, even though our elected MP is a Conservative. Scratch that bookstore off the list!

chutpahticular,

Now you know why I had to pick up my copy of Mark Levin's Liberty and Tyrany will in Kalispell, MT while on vacation this summer!

While on the beach in Punta Cana last year, I took along my copy of Steyn's America Alone. I saw a few people glance at this book as they'd walk by then quickly look away! If I would have foresaw this, I'd have ordered everything in Ann Coulter's library prior to my trip, just to piss off my fellow travellers!

WHILE in Kalispell. Darn new 'ergonomic' keyboard!

Halfway through the book Ron, I am beginning to see why the stinking liberals hate her so much, when they look think or write about someone as nice as Sarah Palin their hands get hot, head steams and Lazarus pays them a little visit to get them quickly back on the message of liberalism. The haters of Palin and all things right in this world are plain evil, nothing more. She and a lot of other conservatives follow a code and that is like a stake in the heart for a liberal

If only they had staged the climate summit in Saskatoon instead of Hopenchangen ... then at least Harper could have got a decent cup of Tim's.

Ha! Ron, I've been in that Chapters many times. Next time I'm up in Kelowna, perhaps I can cause some mischief myself. ;-)

There's a lot of talent and creativity out there to be admired.

Notice the Al Gore "Church of Climatology" picture at 2:24 has been amended from a previous iteration to exclude Sarah Palin from the choir. Proper thing eh.

Oops, better have my eyes checked.

Interesting irony: Copenhagen is home to the world's greatest fairy tale teller H.C.Andersen. How appropriate the city that spawned the parable of "the emperor's new cloths" should host a convention of naked emperors. Emperors of AGW fashion stripped naked by Climategate realities - delectable irony.

"I’m going to start calling him Dysfunction Al. He’s a nervous-making stiff even under the best of circumstances, and when you confront him with the end of all his dreams, you have to wipe the flopsweat off the lens"

Minnesota is a talent pool in which we could drown a lotta lefties....just gotta visit there more often..
The reaction of the usual suspects(OBOZO, Gore, Reid, Pelossi, IPCC etc.) indicate that they were not unwitting dupes but rather were/are dedicated, informed, and willing conspirators...beyond any reasonable doubt.
They should be hunted down with dogs.

ALGORE THE RED NOSED SOOTH SAYER
HAD A VERY SHINY NOSE
AND WHEN HE STARTED LYING
YOU COULD EVEN SEE IT GLOW

ALL THE DENIER REINDEER
USED TO LAUGH AND CALL HIM NAMES
HE NEVER LET DENIERS
jOIN IN ANY WARMDEER GAMES

THEN ONE STORMY XMAS EVE COP15 SAID TO HIM
ALGORE WITH YOUR NOSE SO BRIGHT
SAVE US FROM CLIMATEGATE TONIGHT

THEN ALL THE WARMDEER LOVED HIM
AS THEY SHOUTED OUT IN GLEE
HE'S ALGORE THE RED NOSED WARMDEER
HE'LL GO DOWN IN INFAMY

I'm afraid the skeptics' side is missing something. We are just so factual. We don't have any of the gimmicks like melting polar bear statues and zany ecoactivists doing crazy things. Perhaps, if Lord Monkton would give his next Copenhagen address in his boxers, it would help the cause.
Sarcasm off.
