And how he may, or may not, relate to pre-traumatic stress disorder.
Posted by Mark at November 16, 2009 7:43 PMHis behaviour has nothing to do with Islam, Mark, it has to do with him being Irish, because I...he's Iri....so...
I'll try again later.
Posted by: EBD at November 16, 2009 8:06 PMI totally get what you're saying, EBD. You have no idea...
Posted by: rick mcginnis at November 16, 2009 8:20 PMSeems the young lad thinks 5 hours of training on teh M16 makes him an expert.
An expert target is more like it, for all the eager Paras & SAS that would just love to send him off to meet 72 Virginians, or Virgins or whatever.
The "Virginians" idea just made me giggle like a schoolgirl. I think this deserves to become a meme.
Posted by: rick mcginnis at November 16, 2009 8:35 PMI saw a picture of the 72 virgins. There were 72 old nuns with shotguns.

Posted by: mike at November 16, 2009 8:42 PMWell, keep a good thought, Mike.
Posted by: EBD at November 16, 2009 9:02 PMproof of my contetion that jihad, the troubles in ireland, marxist terrorists, and all that ilk has scant to do with religion or ideology and is TOTALLY about dredging up a sales pitch excuse to create mayhem and engage in common criminality.
especially ireland today and the criminal gang activities of the bigshots that used to head up the IRA when it was still bombing the shopping district of London.
they're just a bunch of drug dealing extortionists now.

Posted by: curious_george at November 16, 2009 9:12 PMBoy those Irish priests must have wailed on the poor lad pretty good to turn him into such a hatemonger.
Posted by: Alienated at November 17, 2009 12:15 AMAlienated - Obviously not enough. I've known some tough priests who wouldn't put up with guff from the likes of you. How many priests have you known? Have you ever served on the altar? How would you know what goes on in the sacristy? Hearsay?

Posted by: Kursk at November 17, 2009 1:01 AM"Asked how he would feel about his own three-year-old son becoming a suicide bomber he replied: “I hope he goes to jannah [heaven] before marriageable age.” His son, named Osama after Kelly’s role model, lives in Britain with his Pakistani mother and two younger brothers. His father reckons Osama will be efficient with weapons by the age of ten."
Now, that's a nutcase. A very serious mental case.
He marries a Pakistani and almost immediately wishes his sons will be terrorists and even suicide bombers, or in other words: Heaven before eleven. Is it catching in the same way some people think PTSD is?
My prayer is that he will see a vision of the Virgin Mary.
Posted by: gellen at November 17, 2009 1:43 AMLarben: You miss my meaning entirely...
Ireland has seen some horrific acts of paedophilia perpetrated by its clergy (as every country has.)
As for myself, yes I was raised a Catholic, served as an altar boy for several years, went to Catholic School where we were regularly belittled & beaten by sadistic priests, and had a good friend who was gang raped in his first year as a seminarian. He dropped out and hasn't been in church since.
So yeah, I do not make comments here without knowing of what I speak. How about you?
Posted by: Alienated at November 17, 2009 12:10 PMGive Ireland back to the Moslems! Don't make them have to take it away!
Posted by: Paul McCartney at November 17, 2009 12:43 PMYes Alienated, and every country has had abuse done by its secular teachers, scout masters, social workers etc. etc. but no one wishes to talk about that, I have never been touched or even experienced anything inappropriate by dozens of priests nuns and other religious. I got the strap on one occasion, I hardly call that a beating, it was the established form of punishment in all schools. Funny, isn't it that some have seen so much and others have seen nothing. I believe what I experienced to be the norm, I have doubts about the extent of your experience, like the natives, it is easy to accuse and so hard for those accused to deny.
