Riders Win First!

Riders are First in the West!

The game was clinched by a 30 yard scamper and subsequent touchdown by Regina City councillor Chris Szarka!

Have fun next week in Calgary, Eskimos!

Good on ya Sask, as a die hard Stamps fan I have always thought they, like the Conservatives of Alberta consume a little to much of each others bath watet. In laymans terms they think they are so good they don't have to work for it. Wrong, listen up Ed.

well played Riders... enjoy your beer(s) lance!

I guess we'll see in a couple of weeks. This year any team in the West could have gone on. Three teams still can and it's anyone's guess who it'll be.

I've never seen the league this tight before.

What a wonderful end to an awesome season for both the Riders and the CFL as a whole. Go Riders!

GO RIDERS!

My 2 1/2 yr old granddaughter keeps dragging me to the computer and asks for "Riders Crumpa"....wants to watch them at least 4 times in a row. She now will can be heard to hum and start to sing "Green is the colour" while playing with her toys.
Her dad (Bomber fan) asked how many times I had to waterboard her.
So here is her Riders song:-

to Rich...you are clearly a concerned and thoughtful grandfather!!! I can't think of many things worst then letting your granddaughter grow up being a Bluebomber fan. That would almost be like childabuse. :)

2 more wins for us RiderPriders and the big prize comes home! Hope the shmo's and stumps beat the daylights out of each other.

Lizzie May,

does she go for the big Green.

I know the dippers cheer Red.

Congrats to the Riders on a hard fought, well deserved win, first in the West looks good on them. I do hope, though, that they get fat and complacent over the next two weeks:) I'm still looking forward to the Stamps winning the Grey Cup at home.

"ENKIDU"

Dear Western teams,
enjoy the race for second prize. You're competing for the chance to be fodder for the Als.

Posted by: chumpdawg at November 8, 2009 7:28 PM

Dear chumpdawg: Montreal's record (vs. Western teams) isn't actually a whole lot different than Calgary's ;)

Posted by: K Stricker at November 9, 2009 11:00 AM

So, this just means that now the Eskimos won't be making two consecutive trips to Calgary to end out the season. You'll be getting a visit in between.
