Done.
Just love these, look forward to them every year now.
Why bother running? Won't Obama win them all?
Posted by: robp at November 6, 2009 2:34 PMHeh robp, could be possible if the lsm was running things, but thankfully they are not.
Every time I come across a lying MSM headline I'll vote for ya Kate; which will be everday.
Sweet.
Done. SDA
Posted by: RCGZ at November 6, 2009 3:04 PMWill Canadian Sentinel be there again?
Will Canadian Sentinel continue to move upwards?
It's up to YOU.

Posted by: Canadian Sentinel at November 6, 2009 3:19 PMAlright, so SDA is nominated for Best Conservative Blog. What is Five Feet of Fury nominated for or what does it need to be nominated for?
Because if this thing comes down to Kate v. Kathy, The stress will drive me to suicide!
Or drink. Probably drink. Anway, some thought needs to go into it. Strategy and such.
Posted by: Black Mamba at November 6, 2009 3:41 PMWhat? No maximalist blog category?
Posted by: andycanuck at November 6, 2009 4:06 PM
Me too, Done, hope this one will be as exciting as last year.
upped for Best Blog
Posted by: Fred at November 6, 2009 4:48 PMFrom the comments/nomination thread at "Best Conservative Blog":
"SmallDeadanimals.com is NOT a conservative blog, at least two of the contributors there supported Obama last election and the night host, Vitruvius recently opined that 'conservatives are half wits'.
"Does that sound like a conservative blog to you? A blog that describes conservatives as 'half wits'? No? Then please do not accept nominations for that blog in this category."
Hmm. You know, I never noticed that two of the guest bloggers supported Obama last election....
Posted by: EBD at November 6, 2009 5:18 PMNeither did I.
Posted by: Kate at November 6, 2009 5:56 PMYOU ARE BEST BLOG.
Posted by: Kommentar von Anonymous at November 6, 2009 6:15 PMEven though it would just be a blow out, isn't Best Canadian Blog' the proper nomination ?
I mean, how on earth could Kate compete with all the American biggies - in say, 'Best Conservative Blog'? What about that 10:1 thing?
Take last year for example. Er, ok, maybe sda can win ANY category.
Speaking of gory - has wk ever been nominated for anything?
Posted by: ron in kelowna at November 6, 2009 6:44 PMI noticed this year LGF is now more accurately in the "liberal" category and self identifies this way.
btw, a little OT but this has always bothered me.. Wouldn't it be more accurate to have left and right wing categories rather than conservative & liberal? It's a very rare thing to find any "classical" or true to the definition liberals on a so called "liberal" blog. These days often many conservative/libertarian blogs more closely fit the true definition.
Posted by: ChrisinMB at November 6, 2009 6:49 PMVitruvius - Did you really call us half-twits? I'll have you know I'm a complete and utter twit. I never do anything half-way!
Posted by: larben at November 6, 2009 7:19 PMVitruvius has never said "conservatives are half-wits".
Posted by: exetaz at November 6, 2009 7:30 PMKatsmeat for best humor blog.
Posted by: Bernie at November 6, 2009 7:31 PMKate will always get my vote! She's #1.
Posted by: MaryM at November 6, 2009 7:31 PMVitruvius has also never said "conservatives are half wits".
Posted by: exetaz at November 6, 2009 7:32 PMSorry I got it wrong, they're claiming Vitruvius called us "half-wits"; oh thank God!
Posted by: larben at November 6, 2009 7:58 PMYeah, it didn't sound familiar, exetaz, and even if I didn't remember such a statement I would have remembered the resulting melee.
Posted by: EBD at November 6, 2009 8:09 PMThe competition ultimately decides how good you are. AoS is the competition again. Ace is great (well, he kinda pussied himself a couple times last year). Go SDA.
Posted by: ∞² at November 6, 2009 10:44 PMI took a quick look at the candidates. Why isn't there a 'Best Communist' or 'Best Socialist' blog category?
Posted by: PiperPaul at November 6, 2009 11:14 PMPiperPaul: "Why isn't there a 'Best Communist' or 'Best Socialist' blog category?"
MSM would have an unfair advantage?
Posted by: ∞² at November 7, 2009 12:14 AMGo 'Kate'.
Posted by: Merle Underwood at November 7, 2009 8:30 AMBest wishes Kate! I commented on the naysaying posts. Apparently my replies will not show (if they do) for 24 hours.
