I watched it last night because I read a review saying it was going to be a sendup of the Democrats and the media. It was exactly that, which made it pretty funny at times. I don't like scifi stuff much but it's probably worth watching just for the shots it takes at the media and the Dem's.

Although I think the reptile brain is very similar to the average left wingers brain.

The new V accomplished in one episode what was almost a season of the old episode. Same story with new actors. I have the old series of V, but note only one side will play on the CD. Two sided CD's are never a good buy. Invaders was a similar series as well.

He should leave TV and go directly to the WH. Have him and Robert Gibbs fight over who is the better Knob Pollisher of the Pres.

I watched it, and think it is a perfect description of our times.

A group appears out of nowhere promising hope and change, but they are really evil in disguise, and we know their motive is to destroy our way of life. And a wilfull media exists to praise them for their own aggrandizement.

People this is a remake of an old series and in the works for years. TV is not telling you the reptilians are behind all the evil in the world. Seek help.

Maybe that's a good thing because there's enough transparency here to prove he does not believe in what the vast majority of Americans want. He is not for the people thus he is not a true Constitution loving American President.

Arrg! It was my main goal to watch V but while waiting I got caught-up in a new book. By the time I looked the show was almost over on all channels. I guess I'll find a repeat but I'm glad to hear one of my childhood favourites was done well; unlike some shows based on a “Sword of Truth”.

That being said, I don't think BO is a V, I think it's much more likely he one of the "Crab people".

I both loved and hated the moment where Tyler's decision to be completely drawn in by the "Visitor Youth" seemed to be driven by the offer of universal health care. The message was way too overt. Aside from the fact that I agree with the message in question it was like watching something from season 5 of 'Boston Legal'. Blecch.

They're attempting to paint the NY23 outcome as a Republican problem. Few seem to notice that until 3 days before the vote, Hoffman was running against the _combined_ machines of the Republicans and Democrats, and nearly managed to pull it off.

Well, let's be honest here, Obama will still win the next presidential election, because it's in the media's best interest to not have their Chosen One be one-and-done. So, while its nice to see these wins last night, and no doubt, there will be big wins for GOP in the mid-terms, it will be an all-out assault by MSM for Barack in 2012. You think you were ill last year, wait until the republicans pick their next candidate. haha - I'm not trying to be a wet blanket here, but this thing is far from over for the President.

Who knew being a "transformative figure" would prove to be so slow and difficult.

Imagine if it took super heroes a year or more to transform from their alter ego. It would be like having no super heroes at all. Oh, that seems to be the case. So much for the hope and change meme.
