Could we have one of our Remedial Reasoning Volunteers step up and help Harry out, please?

This one confuses me a little bit. Aren't the people taking hostages to be recognized as criminals? I think the statement, "They won't be mourned," needs a little more explanation.
Michael Yon makes a good point as always, that the press should take a lesson and keep things quiet to protect others, as had been done for their reporters taken hostage.

People all over have had it with the lies if not them showing their ingratitude. The NY T's ought to be tried for treason.

You can lead the Lefty with reason Kate, but you can't make him think.

Revnant Dream - NYT ought to be tried for treason.
Yup you're right, and they will be, right after Jane Fonda gets sent down.

I have an idea. The next time a journalist is taken and the Taliban asks a ransom (of say $1 million) for his release then the government should offer $1.5 million for them to KEEP him.

The Taliban would be in a quandry. "Should we KEEP HIM and hope the $1.5 mill. offer is legit or do we KEEP HIM and try for the $1 mill offer?

"But then if we release him and GET the $1 mill offer we LOSE 0.5 mill for not keeping him? What to do?".

Hopefully they will get so frustrated with the problem they will simply KILL the reporter out of spite.

Then nobody has to pay anything and one more dickhead journalist is out of the picture.

It's a WIN WIN!!!
