The green party should be called the watermelon party.

It's "green" on the outside and "RED" on the inside.

Your parents and grandparents are the reason you didn't die at 3 years old of measles, mumps, rubella, whooping cough. They are the reason you aren't in a wheelchair or an iron lung from polio.

They are the reason you are living with a roof over your head and have toilets that flush. They are the reason you have food in your belly and books that you can read. They are the reason that you got a phone glued to your #@$% ear and are on facebook and twitter and don't want to talk to them for 1 @#$@# minute.

And the green party is on reason that the ungrateful little @#$@#'s are turning on their parents and stabbing them in the back after they gave them life and everything they had.

God help us all. The green's sure aren't.

Go hug your tree, then dig a hole, crap in it, and wipe with a leaf. Then sit back with your smug satisfaction and enjoy the smell.

Nice!

It's no wonder the socialists wish to lower the voting age to 16, it's always easier to indoctrinate the maroons. IMO we should be raising the voting age to 25 even though that's wishfull thinking. The socialists and the social scientists lecture us that people today are juveniles until their mid to late twenties; therefore, they must be supported until that time by their parents. I agree, seriously I do as long as their benifits are reduced along with their responsibilities.

Oh noooo mr. bill - another 'generation gap, don't trust anyone over 30' and stuff blah blah. Only 40 years too late greenies. Pitting the young against parents? - that'll work. But remember Lizzy your leader is an old white gal.

An excerpt from the Young Greens twitter feed:

# RT @iamDO big up Obama on the Nobel prize! i hate when people say he hasn't accomplished anything... open your eyes! 2 days ago

Having been a youth once myself, there's a compelling argument for segregating them on an island till they're 25.

The catch phrase is absolutely right, parents that DID NOT teach their children to be civilized, respectful of traditions and honoring the principles of individual liberty and personal responsibility HAVE INDEED F*CKED UP THE PLANET.

Posted by: Doug at October 12, 2009 12:08 PM

...and while you're "thanking" your parents for screwing the planet, please do NOT use any of these devices, which your parents helped create and improve:

The internet, wireless networks, computers, airplanes, automobiles, televisions, etc.

Bored yet? Walk to your "local" green party HQ, I'm sure they have a cure for boredom that doesn't use any of these things.

"Your Parents" being baby boomers - keep that in mind at all times. It's not like they're talking about the postwar generation, who - black mark on them - actually raised the boomers.

And I don't get it - what do these people have against corn and houses? Sheesh.

Posted by: rick mcginnis at October 12, 2009 12:11 PM

This is another reason why the separation of Church and State should extend to the Pantheism exhibited by these folks. Although from a strategic perspective the 7% of Canadian voters who support these closet inquisitioners are helping Harper stay in power by splitting up the left-lib vote three ways instead of two.

Interesting to note from their site they seem to be centered in the Gulf Islands, where, the worst thing that you can do to someone is offer them a job. Anti-industry, Parasite heaven!

Oh, Rick, you are SO naive!!

Corn is a phallic symbol AND a painful memory of aboriginal oppression. Also: Big Agra and Frankenfoods!!

Careers = shuffling pointless pieces of paper to each other all day (between office birthday parties of course) while leaving their children to be indoctrinated by professional leftists who know better!!!

Sheesh.

Other than the idiot graphic…
and the collectivist sublimation of all serious issues onto the nebulous (well-nigh numinous) “planet”…
and laying implicit blame on heteronormative nuclear progenitors (likely “western” and “white”)…
while invoking the hedonistic and PANtheistic copulatory imagery so cherished by the febrile minds of the morally superior relativists…
and laying all guilt on the individual…
which is perpetuated by the "live green, vote green" indulgence…

…there is absolutely nothing wrong with this picture!

When they climb the equipment in AB, leave them there to get down on their own, after the workers start them up.

FWIW, if we assume that the standard age range of the Green Youth membership is 16-20 (i.e. born in the early 90's), and that the average age of a mother at the time was 28 (it is almost 30 now, and was 27 in the early 80's), then the typical parent in question would be a product of the early sixties.

Of course, this puts them smack in the cross-over between the the Boomers and Generation X.

Basically, the green kiddies can blame all of us (I'm a pure Gen X'er of 1972 stock) for this nightmare world of comfort and convenience that they must so heroically endure. Thankfully, my oldest is only 12 and I'm therefore only to blame for for wrecking her life, and not yet the world as a whole.

I wouldn't worry about Ms May. Anyone moronic enough to run against the nation's parents has no political future. This ad, ostensibly "pro environment", is actually just anti-family. As for the corn, note the uniformity. This represents GM corn, a big no-no to these stalinists.

Regular corn has low yields, and limited growing area, so turning it into ethanol will raise the price of corn until the breeders in third world countries will starve.

GM corn will increase crop yields, and will grow in ever larger areas, keeping the price down low enough keep the breeders alive.

The crazy part of this whole movement is that it has two diametrically opposed prime directives that act as a cancer, and keep their numbers pruned to non-electable status.

One, the 'social justice' totalitarian side, needs to bring in as many bodies as possible to succeed.

The other, seeks to use eugenics and any other means available to prune down the world population, in efforts to 'save the planet'.

Interestingly, the one constant amongst these groups, from the Greens, G-20 protesters, Hamas and Al Qaida, is their absolute hatred of Jews.

This explains why such diverse people as the Rainbow Coalition, baby killers, Code Pink, and the Greens, will protest in favour of Hamas.

Always remember, if they oppose freedom, the enemy of their enemy is always a friend.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family from ours, in South Calgary.

I found this website of the Young Greens, Green Party of Canada that you and your government might like to know is making the rounds of Johnny Web:

http://youth.greenparty.ca/en/

I'm all for free speech and such, even to the dismantling of the CHRC and removal of Section (13)1 by your government. The sooner the better.

That way the more publicity stuff like this gets in the media, the better. Canadians can then make up their own minds without government supervision on pressing issues of the day.

Perhaps your government could raise this issue in the HoC and have MP's from the currently elected Parties discuss the merits of this claim by the Green Party of Canada.

Sincerely,

Mr Kerr,

I find the following ad by the "Young Greens" of the Green Party of Canada offensive.

As you are no doubt aware, the temperature trend since 1998 has flatlined, showing no rise, indeed even dropping steeply in 2007 and wiping out most of a century of gain, despite CO2 emissions worldwide reaching unprecedented levels as the Chinese open coal fired power plants at almost the same rate as new Tim Horton's opened in Canada. At the same time the rate in the rise of the level of measured CO2 in the atmosphere has slowed, Antarctic sea ice just hit a satellite era melt season high extent, Arctic ice has rebounded from a 2007 low summer by over 20%, Tropical Storm indexes are at 30 year lows, growing seasons and harvests in both the Canadian and American west are shrinking due to extended spring frost seasons and early onset of fall weather, Saskatchewan had 9 straight months of lower than average temps, the sun seems to be stuck at solar minimum, etc....

The green side of the Science in 1998 proclaimed that all "natural forcings" could not account for the observed 1 degree rise in global temperature over the last 100 years, and that our CO2 emissions from the burning of fossil fuels were the only possible answer. The green side of the Science today is now acknowledging the natural forcings taking place are greater in magnitude than they believed possible, big enough to (gasp) actually reverse the steady rising trend that they have been predicting, but they now REALLY REALLY have it all worked out, and it's worse than they thought and the natural forcings are only "masking" the real effects and we are already doomed..... But the Science has been settled for years and we must act now.

Indoctrination by mass hysteria should not be allowed in the political spectrum of tools, please ask for it's removal.

I would be remiss if I did not thank both yourself and PM Harper for the principle and commitment shown on our behalf recently at the UN. Iran's theocratic leadership is a farce and should not be allowed a world stage to promote their religiously fueled anti-Semitic view. That the UN provides him the platform to speak from says enough about that organization. I will not submit and live in Dhimmitude.

Thank you

One of the few good things that happened from 1945 to 1980 was the drastic reduction in real air pollution. The stuff which arrived and stuck on any external surface, and in your lungs. Sticky black nasty stuff, which created wonderful pictures, as per Monet (several views of London - the one in the National Gallery of Canada is around noon - that funny yellow object is the SUN, kiddies, full daylight in London smog).

One of the major steps was taken in Pittsburgh by
a CAPitalist, one of the Mellons (Paul?) who
announced one day in the 1940's that Pittsburgh
would be cleaned up, or he would move his businesses elsewhere.

Believe it or not I am glad that Sleazy May and her gang of idiots put out this crap. It shows the type of radical out of control insane nut jobs that they really are. So I say May keep up the tripe type, it will relegate you to a meager foot note in history and that can't be all bad.

The fact that my hard-earned tax dollars are being used to keep this "political party" afloat is almost as nauseating as the misuse of tax dollars, on a grander scale, to fund the CBC.

This is sheer, utter madness and as soon as PMSH is given a majority, he must act quickly and decisively to drive these pigs from the public trough.

The planet isn't screwed. Global warming isn't happening. Even the arch-warmist BBC are waking up to it.

Did Kinsella switch parties? Sounds like something he'd come up with. Elizabeth May has no class. Hopefully she remains without a seat next time too. Think she'd get the message?

The green party should actually be called the stupid party - stupid on the inside, and stupid on the outside too!

Oooh, the Green Party offended a bunch of Conservatives by trying to incite youth to be less apathetic and to take a stand.

I have to laugh at people complaining about their tax dollars going to the Greens, as the federal government runs a $70 million dollar ad fund trying to buy votes.

Posted by: Dan at October 13, 2009 3:14 PM

Sure Dan and we laugh at you..............

Posted by: OMMAG at October 13, 2009 11:00 PM

At least, Dan, the federal government was elected by the voters of Canada.

Ellie May couldn't even win a seat in a May-/Green-friendly riding.

The woman's a feminist harridan who figures she's entitled to speak from some throne on high. Is that because she knows Bill Clinton and Al Gore? Do special relationships and Yankee nepotism come into her witch's brew?

You betcha! She's "royalty" and we're just plebs, here to hang on her every word because ... well, because she's ELIZABETH MAY AND WE'RE NOT.

Hmmm. Hmmm. Hmmm.
