Such ads, in conjunction with TV *news coverage* are part of a de facto campaign to elicit public support for a giant money-transfer scheme.

One need only to have listened to Nicholas Stern on Alan Gregg last evening to know that this is true -- AGW is all about taking your money and giving it to someone else.
