Life Liberty and Property are the ONLY rights that exist everything else is a printing press right. Your right to free speech is based on my right to free speech. Your right to religious expression is directly tied to mine, your right to deny gay marriage is directly tied to my right to support it... the list goes on and on. Unfortunately there are those on both sides of the political and ideological isle that want to curtail someones rights to "uphold" their own.

I remember Baglow when he was a frequent contributor to the UseNet group can.politics.

Problem was, he got his ass handed to him just about every time he posted; it's no picnic being a hardcore NDP/union guy and having to try (and fail) to defend their anachronistic, outdated dogma day in and day out. I guess the humiliation of being slapped around so much (even by the newbies...that's how bad he was at it...;) just got to be too much for him...but now that he's discovered the blogosphere, he's laughing. On his own blog, he can simply delete anything that makes him look stupid or enlist some of his regular (and equally left-wing) readers to gang up on the offender and bully him/her until they leave.
