The logic seems to be that AGW is so important an issue that we are justified in lying. It is only slightly removed from "we are justified in DOING anything".

Well, it may have neem 895, now its over 10000. If that is all due to SDA in less than 24 hours than I would say Kate is having quite an impact. However, previous experience shows that the YOUTUBE counter is notoriously unreliable and often undercounts.

For instance, it was 10046 before I viewed it, and 10046, after. I also viewed it through a proxy with clean browser. It is still 10046. So my viewing did not count apparently.

In the end, if even BBC, THE BBC, questions this "axiom" then it speaks volumes that the AGW crock has peaked in its influence and we are now clearly seeing sunlight.
