He'd Rather Crawl On Broken Glass Than Vote Liberal

But thanks for asking.

Imagine being so obtuse in thinking that the Liberals hold some sort of premium on the gay community.

Wonderful smackdown of the Prince Of Darkness and well deserved.

I believe that "Cunning is a fool's substitute for wisdom".

I also believe that Warren is a very cunning man.

Open question for Warren: What was the only Majority Government to uphold the traditional definition of marriage in a parliamentary vote?

Yes that would be the Liberals in June of 1999. As a majority government they could have easily voted against it. They had the power but did not back up their rhetoric.

I don't recall anyone calling them homophobes, knuckle draggers or anti gay at the time.

Open question for Warren: What was the only Majority Government to uphold the traditional definition of marriage in a parliamentary vote?

Yes that would be the Chretien Liberals in June of 1999 (remember him Warren?). As a majority government they could have easily voted against it. They had the power but did not back up their rhetoric.

I don't recall anyone calling them homophobes, knuckle draggers or anti gay at the time.

Hey Ward - Excellent Point!!

THAT needs to be brought out more.

I wonder what kinsella would say if ablonczy had delivered a check to a prolife organization for its parade?

Posted by: Gord Tulk at July 15, 2009 9:40 AM

Why the confusion? The CPC is just another bunch of blood sucking liberal traitors looking after number one.

Posted by: the bear at July 15, 2009 11:19 AM

Gay conservatives please gives us all your votes to the Liberal party pretty please. It’s not about power really. We really care about you we really do. We promise that we won’t throw you under the bus like our progressive leftist friends in Europe have done since a much larger voting block arrived. You know the ones I’m talking about don’t you? Trust us. We never drop our principles just for the sake of gaining power. We always put the interest of our country and people first.

Signed
Catsmella

PS
My friend Bernie Farber might get upset if you show support for the Palestinians. The CJC will make that decision for you okay?
Just mark an X on the ballet here.

"I wonder what kinsella would say if ablonczy had delivered a check to a prolife organization for its parade?"

Well, I would hope he would be very pleased by such a contribution to support pro-life, seeing as Special K is SUCH A GOOD CATHOLIC.

Wornout Warren must be one of the most disingenuous, deceptive, dishonest, insincere partisan operatives of all time in Canada. He doesn't care about anyone, including gays, other than his precious little self.

He doesn't even care about the LPC, except when his guy is the Leader. Otherwise, he'll destroy them in elections.

People are correct to tell him to PFO.

What, the catman is still around! I thought he was going to menu sensitive school.

Posted by: Ken at July 15, 2009 12:23 PM

Great response suck on it Warren!

Posted by: Right of centre at July 15, 2009 12:47 PM

So...

Warren can't figure out this gay guy doesn't want to join up with sarcastic, bitter, confused people like Liberals, who call him out on their blogs, patronize his deeply held personal beliefs, and slot gays into a stereotypical category?

Posted by: Kathy Shaidle at July 15, 2009 12:54 PM

Not everyone can stomach cat meat.

Posted by: Bob'syeruncle at July 15, 2009 12:57 PM

Kneejerk smug Librano response, nothing new. The typical left-wing creed: you cannot possibly be economically conservative and a voting-bloc at the same time.

Tax, spend, while siphoning off for the buddies... that's the Librano style. Thanks to the blogosphere, we can circumnavigate the stupifying MSM and "professional" journalists.

Where is the Tsunami money?

Anyone want to take a wild guess which party the fellow who said " gay marriage is a life-long commitment to anal sex"? I'll give you a hint, the story was buried almost immediately.-----http://www.canada.com/ottawacitizen/news/story.html?id=657a14a3-06e8-4181-94f9-48f3ef140cd6

I suppose the libertarian side of conservatism will say, "my goodness, gays are just as well off here as anywhere else."

Meanwhile, the social conservative side will say, "My God, Wappel, can you not find your way across the aisle? You're sitting with the devil and his friends over there."

Posted by: Peter O'Donnell at July 15, 2009 3:58 PM

The Liberals are so laden with hypocrisy on this file they should be speechless. Not of course the great cat eater, he's so deep into gotcha he's in a state of oblivion.

Posted by: Liz J at July 15, 2009 4:13 PM

i don't care about the guy's sexual preferences just don't try and tell me it's normal and usual.

Posted by: old white guy at July 15, 2009 5:03 PM

joe. cunning. satan.

Posted by: old white guy at July 15, 2009 5:05 PM

I hope Kinsella becomes Ignatieff's spin doctor in the next election campaign. When it comes to policy Iggy is all hat and no cattle, which leaves mudslinging. Kinsella has already shown he has foot in mouth disease, and I'll be happy to see Iggy get infected as well.

Posted by: Wild Thaing at July 15, 2009 5:55 PM

Good point there, Wild Thaing.

Kinsella's advice and spin could be Ignatieff's undoing... as long as Iggy's getting his talking points from the Pauper of Dimness.

Posted by: Canadian Sentinel at July 15, 2009 6:04 PM

@old white guy-
please don't knock it
until you've tried it

it's more prevalent and "usual" than you think....trust me, i have hooked up with more than a few "straight" married men.

One of the reasons that SH has put the clampdown on his MPs speaking to the media is because he is so afraid of one of them making a homophobic statement.
