Japan, Stimulated

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!

WSJ, July 13th - Japan's government raised its overall economic assessment for the third straight month in July [...] The upgrade gives embattled Prime Minister Taro Aso grounds to claim his government's fiscal stimulus measures have helped the recession-stricken economy turn a corner ahead of general elections ...

Bloomberg, July 13th - Default rates on loans underlying Japanese commercial mortgage-backed securities rose to an “unprecedented high” of 53 percent in the first half, Fitch Ratings said. [...] A total of 58.6 billion yen ($635 million) of 92.3 billion in CMBS-related loans maturing in the six months to June 30 didn’t repay when due, Fitch said in the statement. For its analysis, Fitch is assuming all CMBS-related loans maturing in the next 12 months will default, it said.

Meanwhile, Japan's armies of the unemployed continue to rust....

That is the amazing thing about stimulus. Despite its abysmal track record, everywhere in the world; this time, in this place, it will work for sure.

"Japan's Robots Face Hard Times" - a sub-headline from The Onion? ScrappleFace? Nope, the New York Times. Jeez. Isn't there some rule about not anthropomorphizing inanimate ob -- oh, nevermind.

Up next on CNN: a day among the army of homeless Japanese robots, as they panhandle for silicone grease and turn tricks for lithium batteries.

Oh, and I can't make my house payment on account of because I'm an unemployed painter's helper who made $12.50/hr on my best day, and my buddy at the bank ok'd me for a $600,000 mortgage.

Canya hep me, Barry? Pretty please?

Barry say, "No problem!"

"President Barack Obama is mulling new ways to delay foreclosure for jobless homeowners who are unable to keep up with monthly payments, an administration official said on Monday."

Wait until the Obamabots realize they will never receive any promised "stimulus" by Barry...The effect will be the reverse of Japan:

The Obamabots will stop being idle and start moving about...Maybe even their "hard drives" will start "calculating".

Synthetic lefty morons!
