I’m pleased to announce that after a quality control review of all stations surveyed so far we are now at the 80.4% mark. 982 stations out of 1221 of the USHCN network have been surveyed. 239 stations remain to be surveyed

Looks like quite a few are located where the hippies regularly light huge bonfires every night and dance naked after smoking a big pile of pot. I thought smoking was bad?

Most recently the Honululu Airport setup was feature on WWT and beside siting problems....asphalt etc....the sensor was defective----4-5 degree +bias....although the sensor has been replaced....the siting is unchanged and the previous records are un modified.
Despite claims that this is aviation associated only and not a climate monitor, it is relied upon by GISS....
Meanwhile James Hansen of GISS is "adjusting" 20th century temperature records allegedly to eliminate anomolies (actually to demonstrate a non-existant warming).
