Has Rush seen this? ... I hope so, just to make his day.

Posted by: Speedy at May 21, 2009 11:42 PMMinor correction: He says:
"Who Can Take Tomorrow? Spend It All Today?" not...
"Who Can Take Tomorrow? Spend It All Away?"
Posted by: Jim at May 21, 2009 11:50 PMHe is the Obama man/Candy man. Yes he can. Yes indeedy he can. What Speedy said -- Priceless.
Posted by: gobidesert at May 21, 2009 11:51 PMWell I certainly found it entertaining, as would, I think, Bill Cosby or anyone else with a good sense of humour. But I know there are millions who wouldn't see the irony in it.
Posted by: Larry Bennett at May 21, 2009 11:51 PMYes, Speedy, Priceless!
The best comedy is the stuff that is closest to the truth.
That clip needs to go viral.
Well done, Mr. Morton.
And thanks for posting that, Kate.
Posted by: Mad Mike at May 22, 2009 12:01 AMIs it me or is the halo starting to fall off Obama's saintly head.
BTW on Obama's speech, it was laden with falsehoods, but one stood out at me in particular:
That Bush's anti-terror policies were bad "experiment" that failed miserably.
So we have no attacks since 9-11 and that is a miserable failure. Interesting.
Compare to the resounding "success" in the experiment that is the left's shining scientific beacon of light - AGW theory: they predict warming and it actually cools.
For today's left, reality is not based on actual facts that transpire or don't transpire. It is based on what they really really want to believe from the bottom of their socialistic hearts.
Posted by: biff at May 22, 2009 12:07 AMOn further thought...Would the late, great, Sammy Davis Jr. have voted for Obama?
I doubt it. he was a thinking man...

biff, this is true not just of today's left, but of yesterday's left, and tomorrow's left. It's a defining characteristic of leftist-thinking: observable facts be damned, socialistic theory is really really really really true.
For God's sake, the data proves cooling for the past 7-10 years. This cooling was not predicted in ANY of the climate models. Yet, these models continue to be relied upon to massively restructure the economies of western civilization. It's sheer lunacy.

Posted by: paul at May 22, 2009 1:04 AMActually the USA has a long dreadful history of this sort of insanity. In the late 18th century, they practiced a policy of appeasement with the Barbary Pirates---even paying them tribute($$$$). Prior to and into both World Wars, their policy was poplarly supported neutrality. Many democrats/leftists long after blamed Pearl Harbour on a pro-war conspiracy.

Posted by: Dave in Mississauga at May 22, 2009 9:05 AMIt's not the first Bob & tom song I've heard but it is up there as being the funniest.
TOTUS can certainly spread it smooth but sooner or later the sheeple will wake up to find that the great "0" is nothing more than a talking suit with somebody's hand stuffed up his butt making all the moves.
Posted by: Texas Canuck at May 22, 2009 9:17 AMPriceless!
I find the "big O" very unsettling. There is an idiot savant quality to him. He can be in full flight and suddenly stumble over the most basic concepts that would not challenge a fourth grader.
Perhaps some day a book will be written detailing the reality of how Obama and the rest came to be put forward as choices for president in 2008 and who backed them early on and why.
Posted by: Sgt Lejaune at May 22, 2009 10:02 AMSasquatch,
Check your facts, buddy. The US was also the one who sent in the Marines and captured Tripoli, which in turn stopped the piracy on the Barbary Coast. It was the Europeans who thought that paying off the pirates was the status quo...and didn't do anything about it.

Posted by: Merle Underwood at May 22, 2009 12:31 PMGreat song, this dude has a wicked sense of humor. In a couple of years Obama's army of a million will probably raid them for hate messaging.
Posted by: Revnant Dream at May 22, 2009 2:37 PMTrue, hilarious, and he has a good voice to boot.
