Oh well. He can always go back to doing "The Man Show". We deeply enjoyed his biting satire there.

That, and women jumping on trampolines.

“Everything you’re going to hear this week is” nonsense (bullshit).

Hey Kate, you didn't put up the story about the guy heading up Newsweek that said he wanted to deliberately reduce subscriptions by 50% to improve the financial position of the paper.

That was AWESOME!!! A moment of clarity. And now back to regularly scheduled programming

The execs will neither understand or believe him.

Kimmel ! ... Good for him.

Posted by: OMMAG at May 19, 2009 11:14 PM

Hey Kimmel is just like Obama is with reporters - he treats them like crap and they keep coming back for more.

Why does anyone care what this guy says about the entertainment business ?

His job is to amuse.

The "I'm f*cking Ben Affleck" video was very funny.

This guy's often very funny.

But, the minute any of these guys claims to be in-the-know, or wise, or profound, poke the remote.

What is this television you speak of? I canceled my cable, and discovered TV made so much of an impact on my life that I've forgotten about it completely.

I agree with Kate. Faster please. Maybe if they finally grow a clue and put on something other than LIE to us 24/7/365, I'll have a reason to hook the antenna up. They can bite me on the whole cable thing.

I cancelled my cable 9 years ago and have never looked back.

Don't Leftists call what Jimmy Kimmel did "speaking truth to power"?

Since the Left has all the power now, this could get really entertaining. They have developed such an appetite for cannibalism that they are surely going to dine on each other now that they have no one else to savage.

Will the TV Networks become redundant soon ? My kids think so.

Watch programs via the Internet, directly from the producers ? No need to watch the "News at Ten" first ? Or the other hours and hours of junk.

It's at times like this that I wish I still wrote a TV column - Kimmel has never been a favorite of mine, but his better comic impulses obviously overwhelmed him here, and he was obviously moved to tell the whole truth in the worst possible place. Good on him.

I think Jim was also on "Win Ben Stein’s Money". This guy is an NFL fan so he's okay in my books. That being said, I too feel like cable TV is terrible bang for the buck; but, as I said before "what about the NFL, NBA, NCAA, South Park, 106 & Park, the Masters, HBO boxing and so on?"

Unlike you Phantasmo, I don't get a hard-on when I lift the hood of my car. I needs my B*tches jumping on Tramps!

How that Attric?

Pok -- Even funnier was Jimmy's ex Sara Silverman and Matt Damon.
