Looks like a cancer spreading, especially for women!

I'm hoping that people who still have delusional fantasies about a two-state solution to the Arab-Israel conflict will reflect on the abject failure of appeasement in giving the Taliban free reign over SWAT. Shocka: t'was not enough!

PA/Hamas will do EXACTLY the same thing if a terror state is permitted to come into existence in Judea/Samaria/Gaza. I note, with despair, that even the Islam-savvy Pope is championing this project.

Will the StupidFlu pandemic ever end?

I do not understand. Didn't Pakistan complete successful negotiations with these guys not 3 months ago? Negotiation always results in lasting peace, ALWAYS. That is what Jack Layton told me, and Jack Layton always tells the truth, and he possess all knowledge. Doesn't he?

I have had visions of a dusty version of the bug out from Saigon lately. Pakistan - nuclear weapon enabled- is on the brink of political collapse. The implications for everyone are severe (what will India do for example?) Barack as potus will need to be up to the task.

Once again appeasement didn't work and Pakistan is now fighting for it's life..........
BAMBAM and his administration are a weird combination of leftist wishful thinking and just plain ignorance.
Been there, seen that, done than....Munich Crisis...Neville Chamberlain redux.......

The depressing thought is that the happiest period of history for Afghanistan is when we entered. Life before the Taliban is almost a forgotten memory. The current generations will remember helpful Westerners and poisoned schoolgirls.

But then, how reliable is the BBC? Can't help but recall staged riots of the past. News media welcomed amongst the cutthroats? Must be putting out advantageous propaganda? Cutthroats exposed to air power are toast. Guerrilla warfare cannot capture and hold territory.
Agree sasquatch, there is a lesson here again that the Left just can't learn. Jimmy Carter thinks Arafat was just one fine guy. The big O believes he just has to sit down and talk. God help us!

Read "Charlie Wilson's War".

The movie misses all the vital details, not to mention inventing events.

WalMart gift certificates don't mean a thing to these guys.

They LIKE killing foreigners: slowly, if time allows.

It's their idea of time well spent, hope fulfilled.

Foreigners are anyone beyond four degrees of blood relation.

You, for example.

Obama may be the guy at the helm when the first terrorist nuke gets lit.

He isn't my first choice to handle the fallout (so-to-speak...)

I always think of "Mars Attacks" when I see this sort of thing. They think they can keep signing treaties and agreements with these folks. Never works because they have one purpose and that's to take over everything. Contracts are meaningless to them because in their legal system a contract with an infidel is not binding.
