I actually think the juxtaposition is good. The Obama administration, on the one hand, is releasing information and photographs embarrassing to the previous administration but refusing to do the same for photographs embarrassing to the current administration. Personally, I'm all for more transparency and think that Obama should live by his own words and favour a policy of disclosure. Of course, failing to release the pictures of the photoshoot is not nearly as serious as failing to release documentation of alleged abusive interrogations.
