Not Waiting For The Asteroid

Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!

Politico; Robert Gibbs gave White House reporters a "strong A" Friday for their work over the first 100 days of the new administration.

Translation:
Hey media outlet, you're a buisness right?

Well guess what, your customers DON'T WANT what you're selling! Worse yet (for you), they won't suffer one little bit, if you drop off he face of the earth.

Have a nice bankruptcy.

100. what a magical number. if you are a dem commie it's great no matter what is done. if you are conservative do not pass go go directly to jail.

Posted by: old white guy at April 27, 2009 3:08 PM

If Obama stopped short, half the WH press corps would have broken noses.

Posted by: mojo at April 27, 2009 3:22 PM

It's not about the numbers, it's about how they feel they've done. If they signed their own checks I'm sure they'd all get a raise(like politicians). If only the Americans had their own CBC to pay for even though nobody watches it. That would guarantee a platform for programming that isn't responsible to the consumer, but supports the right agenda. Perhaps NBC can become such a network. It wouldn't go over well with "the people"; but, if you fund it through the backdoor under the guise of "green funding" to GE, it just might work.

aka Whistling Through The Graveyard. Also, The People Are Onto You.

Declining circulation, even though the cities' populations are increasing !! If they were standing still, holding their own, they would still be loosing.

Perhaps the Journalists, and especially the Editors, should, as Lorrie Goldstein wrote this morning, look into matters before printing drivel and misinformation and bias.

Read some !!@#$#$* books !!

How does a liberal fart catcher properly cook and serve an "A"?

Good luck, suckers.

Old failing Media wanting your Tax Dollars today in Ottawa.

Robert Gibbs gave White House reporters a "strong A" Friday

Well, of COURSE he did.

It's a little like kissing your sister, though, isn't it?

In the Special Olympics everyone gets a medal.

Posted by: rg at April 27, 2009 5:17 PM

I think him naming his children's dog after himself says it all. The dog's name is BO, used to be named Charlie.

He bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia but not the Queen of England, but his wife had the audacity to put her arm around her like they were school girl chums. It is well known that the Queen does not like to be touched. In my eyes, this was a power play.

Posted by: No-one at April 27, 2009 5:26 PM

RG,

In fairness to the One, even he gave himself an F when it came to his bowling score.

So no, maybe all Special Olympians (TOTUS) don't get medals.

BTW, no slight intended to the Special Olympics, I'll leave that insult to TOTUS.

Thanks Free for the link. That story made my day. It's worth quoting from.

"The network [FOX] is turning down the president's request to show his prime-time news conference on Wednesday. The news conference marks Obama's 100th day in office. Instead of the president, Fox viewers will see an episode of the Tim Roth drama "Lie to Me."

Posted by: No-One at April 27, 2009 5:48 PM

Looks like I will miss the news conference - if I watch any news but Fox (including Canadian msm - just watch CPAC House of Commons live) my blood boils. I have found that I am a lot better natured since the 'change' my household can believe in!

Thanks for the link Free

Robert Gibbs gave White House reporters a "strong A" Friday

They share a hot tub naked together, what else would he say of his fellow mooncalf’s?
Give it another 100 day's & America will have no friends left. Bankrupt & shunned. When the Chinese take over Taiwan from this day dream believer President. China has the US over a barrel in loans. Think if the world adopts the Euro instead of the devalued Dollar?
With nothing to back their paper, they are now open to black mail. China owns the Panama cannel. It is taking the lead of electronics. Half the concrete in the world goes to China to build new cities.
Than their is India. Meanwhile the USA falls backwards more each day under this leftist wolf. God help America

I see Obama is not above a little terror Jihad himself on New York. Probably made his day hearing of the fleeing. All in a day's work for one of allahs chosen.

"strong A" .....

Well there you go boys.

In return for the all the slow, gentle, on-demand head they've given him for the last two years, all they get is an "A"?

Posted by: Darrell at April 27, 2009 9:14 PM

Sounds like a bit of mutual mast*rbation to me.

The forgoing quote falls squarely in the column of Delicious Irony. Definitely a sig-worthy quote.

The arrogance is astounding. Not to mention the naked display of who works for who.

"good little lap-dog, you pressy wessy, yes, yes, obambie lubs his little lap-dog"

Posted by: DeserveLibertyDotCom at April 28, 2009 5:46 AM

Hmm.. "Lie to Me" or a Bambam press conference. And the difference is...?

the u.s. has sealed it's fate by accepting every socialist scheme proposed during the last 100 years not days. the big o is just putting the cap on. had they followed their constitution none of this shit would be happening.

Posted by: old white guy at April 28, 2009 8:13 AM

Third primetime news conference in 100 days? Narcissist much Barry?

A CO I once sailed under made a grand total of four announcements over the PA to the crew in two years. I asked him why so few and he told me that when we heard him speaking it had better be important. Too many "I love the sound of my own voice" pipes (naval jargon for using the PA) and people start to tune you out.

Posted by: AtlanticJim at April 28, 2009 10:13 AM

In the new "nudg-ocracy" the newspapers just have to stand by their man, and he will rescue them, same as he gave the autoworkers title to the industry they destroyed. Same as Barney Frank is overseeing the investigation into what happened in the banking industry.

The US is a mighty ship, but iceberg has hit, and the flotation tanks are flooding. It is just hard to tell right now that it is doomed. All will be clearer in a year.

Posted by: tim in vermont at April 28, 2009 2:28 PM

A groveling foreign policy, massive debts and pork, a weakened defense and that gets an A.
This Onion article says it all.
