Liberals Unveil Brand Spanking New Website

Onprobation.ca .... onprobation.com (NSFW)

Really, a meaningless difference.

Will the libs never learn?!

porno'greenshift' anyone?

Posted by: Agent Smith at March 24, 2009 12:49 PM

Whoops... how about a "not safe for work" disclaimer?

Posted by: Doogie at March 24, 2009 12:55 PM

Grab my green shifter? I'd have said shaft, but that'd be rude, eh?

d'oh.

Posted by: The Phantom at March 24, 2009 12:56 PM

Whew! Saw the site title at the top of IE before the page loaded and managed to get out of there in time.

Both sites are unmentionable.

Posted by: Mississauga Matt at March 24, 2009 1:01 PM

Good idea, Doogie. Updated.

Posted by: Kate at March 24, 2009 1:02 PM

Love the little American Flag after the "English" selector on this "Liberal Party of Canada"

http://voice.liberal.ca/session/new#

He's probably going after the pro-Obama Canadian voter base...

Posted by: Geoff at March 24, 2009 1:05 PM

I gather the latter is the LIEberal 'stimulus package'. Let me guess, they will handing out condoms with their next election campaign. LOL.

These people can’t even procreate properly, how the hell are they going to stimulate the nation?

At least with real sex, you’re laying down a “deposit” on the future generation.

Yeah, they'll keep the gov't on their toes by voting 'Present' on matters of national importance.

If they show up.

Posted by: grok at March 24, 2009 1:22 PM

I wonder if the porn site is a party supporter?

Posted by: Joanne (T.B.) at March 24, 2009 1:23 PM

Very fitting coincidence, mistakes will be made keying in onprobation.ca The.com one is very fitting considering what the liberals have been doing to the public for some decades.

That might get the attention of the gang of media hacks prostituting for the Liberals. They seem to be driven to these sorts of things, as someone mentioned the Green Shift fiasco.

Posted by: Liz J at March 24, 2009 1:24 PM

Jennifer Wright sued the Liberal party when the Greenshift name was taken by them without her permission.

How delecious would it be for the Liberal party if it were likewise sued by the owner of that porn site? I mean c'mon, if I were the owner of a filty porn site, I wouldn't want my business' name confused with and therefore tainted by a Liberal party venture either ;)

Posted by: Michael Harkov at March 24, 2009 1:31 PM

Oh brother - you'd think these bozos would have done a TEENY bit of investigative work beforehand. This makes the green shift website fiasco look like Rhodes scholar material.

And these are the doofi the lefties want running the country? God help us all.

Posted by: bob at March 24, 2009 1:31 PM

Too bad the cat is out of the bag. I would have loved for all the liberals to go to the .com instead of the .ca.

On another subject: The Fox news story about the comedian who made fun about the Canadian military. Now all Canadians are supposed to boycott Fox news in protest. Obviously a liberal strategy by DJ Obama to get Canadians to turn away from the only news station that actually questions his actions - part of the plan to get the liberal opposition in power in Canada.

No secret DJ Obama and our Madame speaker, who he invited to come visit him, and the liberal opposition leader - who he met privately are now in the active strategical phase of "the takeover plan"

Unfortunately, the liberals will sell Canadian resources and the control of them to the US at a pittance or for nothing.

I love how the US has suddenly become the #1 country we should be more like (according to the liberal party).

Speaking of 'not safe for work warning', I wonder how many employees will get fired or at least a severe warning by their bosses after making a typo. So sad, but too Funny!!

According to http://www.thegreenshift.ca/:

"In the summer of 2008 the Liberal Party of Canada used our trademark to brand their carbon tax program. This resulted in a lawsuit and an out of court settlement."

I wonder if OnProbation.com will go after the Liberal Party of Canada for making the same mistake again?

On the other hand, maybe the Liberal Party will drive a lot of traffic to the Florida registered porn site with the same name.

According to the Globe and Mail ( http://tinyurl.com/c7mhaz ) Iggy's very own communications director Jill Fairbrother came up with the name.

This gives "Surfing USA" a whole new meaning.

Posted by: aek at March 24, 2009 1:54 PM

Why not?
After all, Iggy is sporting not one, but two, pornstaches; both above his eyes.

Posted by: molarmauler at March 24, 2009 1:58 PM

A perfect example of what happens to environmentalists & peta activists who become vegetarians and are no longer receiving a sufficient amount of animal protein for their brains to function correctly- especially the area of the brain responsible for reasoning and critical thinking.

I read somewhere years ago that without animal protein ppl can become highly susceptible to suggestion. I have no idea whether it is true or not, but certainly seems to be occurring, at least, anecdotally in this population group.

From Scott's Diatribes -

You won’t be surprised to know a lot of Liberal partisan blogs love the site. More telling is there are non-Liberals who think this site is well done and is a good idea as well.........

If this website rollout was a 1 day show for the media and efforts aren’t maintained to keep it as up to date and current as possible, then the site will be a failure. However, if information is kept up to date, then I have great hope for the site (which looks tons better then the Conservative government’s creation, in my biased POV).

==========================

If its not kept up to date, it is a failure? Consider this a failure, of nuclear proportions, LMAO.

Compare the logo for the Libs "onprobation.ca" to the Petro-Canada Logo. Another rip-off.

I'm sure the .com address doesn't want to be associated with those disgusting sleazeballs.

I see the Liberals have found employment for those Romanian strippers they brought in a few years ago.

....... "Black, Asian, Latin, Interracial + Fetish Links"

At least their blunders appeal to the "immigrant/ethnic" vote. lmao.

One site is a disgusting cesspool of depravity. A prime example of the decline of Western Civilisation.

The other is a porn site.

Posted by: Norman at March 24, 2009 2:58 PM

Ignatieff's finger-wagging "probation" comment seems to be the only lasting impression he's been able to make so far as undemocratically proclaimed leader of the LIEberals. With so little traction elsewhere, the LIEberals need to hold on to what they've got.

The opening message from Count Iggula basically says "stay tuned", we have nothing to offer in terms of a political alternative yet, but we are going to have something soon. Okay, sure Mikey.

As an acclaimed intellect, Ignatieff hasn't shared one idea from that giant brain of his yet that makes me think he should be PM. A leader bereft of new ideas, and a website that proves it.

Nothing to see here, move along, people.

Posted by: Kevin F. at March 24, 2009 3:27 PM

Why is there portions of the website on the front page that load up from mit.edu ? I gather it has to do with Timeline upcoming reports and deadlines.

Notice the "beta" above the ".ca" in the top lefthand corner.

Posted by: Gerry at March 24, 2009 3:55 PM

I went to both sites. I was disappointed....not a picture of Jack Layton anywhere.

Too old maybe?

Posted by: eastern paul at March 24, 2009 3:58 PM

I have never been so disgusted in all my life..vile, filthy trash, page after page of whores, looking for money while promising you a good time will be had if you just follow their siren call..

The porno sites were ok though...

Posted by: Kursk at March 24, 2009 4:04 PM

Is Iggy getting his money worth with that 'ass-kicking' consultant/idvisor of his or what?

What next? Toilet cams? Oh wait a minute.....

Posted by: Eskimo at March 24, 2009 4:05 PM

Not much difference in sites as far as I could see, whores are whores.

Posted by: Western Canadian at March 24, 2009 4:11 PM

If I owned the porn site I'd sue Iggy and Co. for defaming the wholesome image of my 'net skanks.

Hey eastern Paul, Layton is a dipper. So he's lazy by nature. He probably has a 'stunt moustache' hired to do all hi 'on-line' activities!

BTW when are we going to get spring here in northern Alberta? I'm sure you're tired of shovelling too.

Posted by: Eskimo at March 24, 2009 4:12 PM

Political phone spam in the next election:

"Hi, this is Michael Ignatieff from the Liberal Party of Canada. Wanna see some feelthy pictures?"

Posted by: The Phantom at March 24, 2009 4:30 PM

On probation? does that mean the adscam crew are officially running the liberal party?

hahahahahahahahahha

Posted by: Honey Pot at March 24, 2009 4:47 PM

On the site there is many mentions of upcoming events, G20, Finance ministers meeting and others. Does Iggy think he will be PM and can go to these things. I take as an admission that our PMSH will be attending these meetings and do a great job.
And has anyone mentioned that Alberta is getting some big Environment Award from the same group that slagged us in NG.

Posted by: MaryT at March 24, 2009 4:56 PM

Liberals are truly stupid, using a word that could easily be associated with crime, knowing their history for corruption.

Posted by: Honey Pot at March 24, 2009 5:15 PM

The bottom line to all of this is the stupid Liberals have used a name that can lead people to a site they never would dare go if they happen to key in .com instead of .ca with "onprobation".

The Liberals are fixated on Iggy's professorial term 'probation' when it's Iggy who is on probation with the people of Canada and his time has run out. He's a DUD just like the dregs who are running the party at this time.

Posted by: Liz J at March 24, 2009 5:16 PM

And yet they're ahead in the polls...go figure....

Posted by: jcl at March 24, 2009 6:40 PM

The web address "www.lieberals.com" is available for sale and "www.lieberals.ca" doesn't even respond so might not even be registered yet. Why would they pass up such a great "brand"?

Posted by: Sgt Lejaune at March 24, 2009 6:42 PM

visited the site and found it completly and utterly offensive.....then saw the porn site

Posted by: paul at March 24, 2009 8:20 PM

maybe they had to do too many "re-do's" and didn't spend enough time checking out domain names. [ I know a guy that has mastered the use of teleprompters John and Scotty !]
