The Lucky-X-Chromosome Senator For New York

And to think that Caroline Kennedy was in line for a mere Senate seat when she had the qualifications to be Treasury Secretary.

When in doubt, go for aristocracy.

To create doubt, confusion or outright fabrication of "news", go to the MSM. Remember, they have mouths to feed, too.

Sorry to be OT but a Globe poll needs attention. Should Omar Kadhr come home? So far it's 60-40 in the right direction, but something more overwhelming would be nice

Posted by: Greg at January 22, 2009 4:24 PM

I would imagine she also qualifies to run the Federal Reserve!

GREG PLEASE PROVIDE A LINK.

It's there on the lower right hand side, running 59% leave him, 41% bring our boy home.

Thanks dmorris:
Just voted and it is still 59-41. Keep voting SDA.

Rich liberals are all for raising taxes because they know how not to pay taxes.

Supreme hypocrisy.

Posted by: Friend of USA at January 22, 2009 6:19 PM

So now she's not going to be a senator. Is this an example of a system that works?

Posted by: glasnost at January 22, 2009 6:21 PM

Not even remotely close glasnost.

In that system she would never have ever been considered.

Posted by: AtlanticJim at January 22, 2009 6:26 PM

Taxes and housekeeper? Naw.

I'm sure she just figured it would be easier to slide into her uncle's seat now that he is going to be out of the picture.

And it would be in the Kennedy clan's own private state too.
Ooohhh, the Camelot of it all.
Yes, fairy tales can come true!

OT again re poll (sorry Kate) - another poll at sympatico.msn.ca "release Canadian-born detainee Omar Khadr? - 46,338 responses - no 64% yes 20% not sure 16%

Exactly what I thought, rockyt. It's a no-brainer.
That state will not ask any potentially embarrassing questions. Imagine if only John hadn't taken up flying lessons, he'd be able to step into either the N.Y. senate seat or Uncle Teddy's.

Now 47,307 responses and exactly the same poll results

Posted by: richfisher at January 22, 2009 7:09 PM

voted at g&m, 58-42.

Democrats have become more like thieving Feringies than watchdogs for the public. Like the NDP here. Its why scandals abound among them.

50,604 @ 6:05 mst. Still exact same responses. Something VERY fishy there.

Geert Wilders knows in like manner as Mohammad Ali did. That being a free Man entails the risk of dying or being imprisoned for what they believe. With the consequences for not only personnel liberty, but integrity at times of repression.

I was brought up to think doing good was its own reward. So is standing up for what on thinks is right no matter the cost.
