People “carrying placards calling for an end to what was described as a ‘massacre’”.

I noticed they changed the reading of their placard from "WE" to "THEY". I wonder why?

Security certificates and deportation for the lot of them. Hey, if they can do it to Zundel...

Doesn't Canada have child abuse laws that protect children from the extreme indoctrination of Islam?
Should the children like this little girl not be taken away from their parents and put in secular foster care (Christian would be better of course, but we are a secular country, or so the media would tell you.) Has anyone tried to look into this?
It would be great if the Kadr family had to give up the remaining kids becasue of their family's ties to terrorism.

Wow . . Kinsella wouldn't have to go skulking around boys washrooms to find his swastikas to photograph.

Posted by: Fred at January 19, 2009 11:35 AM

Simply disgusting. This is out and out hate and people should be prosecuted!

Posted by: MJH at January 19, 2009 11:42 AM

Hello, Canadian Jewish Congress????? Anybody????

"The number you have reached is no longer in service at this time"

Sheesh - I used to think it was bad when people used their kids for election bullying

And - funny header

And and - what a grim little face

Posted by: Erik Larsen at January 19, 2009 11:45 AM

Picture is from Australia to be clear, click on it. But do you really believe the same type of "indoctrination" doesnt happen in the dark corners in this country.

Posted by: Stephen at January 19, 2009 11:46 AM

Wasn't a child taken from a "neo-nazi" couple recently?

Posted by: dp at January 19, 2009 11:51 AM

Well at least Montreal is considering making face masking ( like the mother at the left) illegal in street protests.
Will Toronto , Halifax, Edmonton,Vancouver or for that matter London Ontario follow suit?

My guess is they will not.

Just goes to show that Canada does not have a monopoly of ungrateful immigrants and their communist/socialist/leftist supporters. Can understand why the impressionable immigrants can be coerced to attend these propoganda fests but can not understand why citizens would, both here and in Australia. Suggest that the HELL'S ANGELS and not Canadian police oversee these types of rallies.

It is so sad for the generational perpetration of victimhood into the third or fourth level of succession. The only hope is for a very brave person to successfully follow Ghandi and MLK with nonviolent activity within their own space. A space carved out for them by so many others, as were all the spaces in the Middle East during the Twentieth Century.

Cheers for the change to American Society as observed from our "Snowbird Seat" in the Florida Panhandle. Great folks from the North intermingling with great folks from the South. This week is another positive step which will slowly but surely separate the "victimized" from the people who working towards colour blindness in the U.S.A. This extends well beyond political partisanship.
My observations over as many generations as represented by the blindness of the sign held by the child is that the U.S.A. has steadily and positively moved well beyond the time when, as a twelve year old Canadian of European ancestry visiting Northern Florida, I first saw segregated public washrooms and drinking fountains.
Please remember southern Florida is the "North" and northern Florida is the "South".
As a continuation of my equality rant please remember the U.S.A. understood and acted upon the advice of Frederick Hayek and the principles of his book "The Road to Serfdom" first published in 1944. A final Cheers

There you go. A real hate crime comes forth and nobody knows what to do. Lots of crickets chirping though.

Posted by: Sounder at January 19, 2009 12:52 PM

How come no one wants to stamp out illiteracy and hatred any more?

Posted by: Osumashi Kinyobe at January 19, 2009 1:04 PM

I noticed they changed the reading of their placard from "WE" to "THEY". I wonder why?

Good question, maybe someone with a better historical background could explain the relationship a certain European regime had with the Middle East?

Posted by: the bear at January 19, 2009 1:15 PM

Does anyone else find this to be more than a little bit scary? How much longer before they're slapping a Star of David onto all clothes belonging to Jewish people again?
That little girl should be slammed into foster care before her parents can teach her how to hate properly, and no one should be allowed to "protest" (because this isnt true protesting) or preach hate without being required to show their faces to the world.
We have a right to know who wants us dead and who simply doesnt care.

Well I voted on their poll (http://mediumonline.ca/blog/?p=509&cpage=1#comment-22) and the results are looking like maybe more people are blaiming Hamas for the current crises than was expected. I hope everyone goes to the site and votes.

Posted by: Tim at January 19, 2009 2:03 PM

One would hope that the MSM "journalists" would have courage to forthrightly state what they imply day after day after day, which is that the barrage of rockets into Israel by Hamas and Hezbollah is justified.

But the weasels don't have that courage.

My disdain for MSM journalists, and their shoddy product grows daily.

Good point bear.

Hittler and the mugslums got along just fine!

Posted by: bygeorge at January 19, 2009 2:52 PM

This was in my 'inbox' today.
It's on topic and chilling.

'A man whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War ll owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.
'Very few people were true Nazis 'he said,' but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'
We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace, and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectra of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.
The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide. It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor killing. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque. It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. The hard quantifiable fact is that the 'peaceful majority', the 'silent majority', is cowed and extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant. China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.
The average Japanese individual prior to World War ll was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.
And, who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?
History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence. Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany, they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.
Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghanis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late.
As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts: the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Kate, your punctuation needs work. Shouldn't the quotations be around the word people?

Posted by: Wes Werkman at January 19, 2009 3:17 PM

Child abuse from the religion of "peace".

Posted by: Soccermom at January 19, 2009 5:00 PM

doowleb....excellent summary from this guy. Good thing he isn't in Canuckistan,or the CHRC would be trying to fry his ass right now for speaking the truth.
Little known factoid....when the SAS started going after the IRA way back when, they killed not only the IRA member, but the whole family, including baby terrorists.Like they said, they only way you get rid of an infestation is to irradicate it.Just like smallpox,Isalm is a virus that must be totally irradicated, except for maybe a few in a class 4 containment area for study and a cure.Leftardism/fanaticism.There is no difference. They are both mental f&&kups.

Why not just draw the swastika , or is that a drink coaster from GoHomeistan.

Posted by: richfisher at January 19, 2009 5:34 PM

That's the thing about irony...it's so ironic.

Posted by: TBinSTL at January 19, 2009 5:42 PM

This is not considered child abuse? Yet spanking a child is, for wrong doing. The disconnect is psychotic. Where are the police or child care workers. If this toddler where anyone else . The parents would be in trouble.

This is not a demonstration its more a KKK meeting. They even have the robes & scarf’s to hide themselves. Of course Jew hatred is required at this party. Its disgusting. Our law enforcement have become cowards to PC multicultural victimology .

So Melbourne'stan', Australia is just like the Canadian cities. Freedom to protest, wear masks, write crap on a piece of cardboard and have the kids wave it around. Here is where the pic was took and who she 'Nilk' says is the usual backers.

Taken at the State Library of Victoria, on Swanston Street (between Lt Lonsdale and Latrobe Streets), Melbournistan.

Usual players: the Communist Party, the Socialist Alliance, plenty of muslim groups, the ACTU, the nurses union (!). I wonder how all those working families who are paying their union dues feel about that?

Posted by: Merle Underwood at January 19, 2009 7:51 PM

"Simply disgusting. This is out and out hate and people should be prosecuted!"

Good point. If only there were tribunals and legislation outlawing scary speech, that would be cool.

Maybe if the CJC and Bnai Brith were to lobby the CPC we could get some laws against speech and hire some speech investigators. We could call it "Plan B". Actually now that I think about it maybe Canadians aren't supporting Israel due to all the free speech we have here; that's a problem that needs to be addressed, now.

"Well at least Montreal is considering making face masking ( like the mother at the left) illegal in street protests.
Will Toronto , Halifax, Edmonton,Vancouver or for that matter London Ontario follow suit?"

Whoa, comrade, 1 banning at a time, we're still pretending to be free speechers, remember? First we ban speech, *then* we ban the rest of the stuff, da?

More hateful Muslims spewing anti-Jewish hatred in public and getting away with it.

How about some appropriate violin music, Vitruvius?

Posted by: The Canadian Sentinel at January 19, 2009 8:41 PM

Kinsella was right- there's definitely a lot of hate out there.

See, little punk boy? Get yourself out of that stupid toilet stall, grab your camera-phone and go get 'em! Bring Richie Warrin' Man and his pie throwers with you! They're holding up a swastika in public!

Posted by: The Canadian Sentinel at January 19, 2009 8:47 PM

That picture is really f***-ing disgusting.

A suicide bombette in the making. Child does not stand a chance unless there is some type of intervention. But then again, do social workers really want to mess with radical muslims? Most Social Workers are women 74% in Canada, even in situation where a male partner is abusive they work with the female even if she is not the one throwing the children around and the children plainly state they are afraid of their father-this is especially true if the man is educated. In the muslim culture if a couple does perchance become involved with MCFD or social services, the male does all the speaking while the female looks down. It is very difficult to for SW to discover what is really gong on or even establish eye contact with the women. This is also true to some degree in asian cultures.
