"I swear, if I get passed over one more time for promotion I will NEVER blow myself up!"
Now that was hilarious. Someone here (forgive me for not giving credit where credit is due) suggested we ridicule the Islamofascists to death. I agree! Keep these coming.

Hilarious. Comedy done well is better than a nuke.
Posted by: irwin daisy at January 14, 2009 10:14 PMPerhaps this is an effective countermeasure. When you’re not killing them, laugh at them. Even better laugh at them while you’re killing them. Either way I like the laughing part, even though it hurts.
Posted by: glasnost at January 14, 2009 10:29 PMWEll Done.
Posted by: Revnant Dream at January 14, 2009 10:32 PMYes, I do believe that, and indeed what we have been doing with Hamas has been declared transparently to the Israeli government, who have encouraged us to do this, as has the British government, as a way of indirect negotiations. There were negotiations going on when the shelling started; I’m afraid the timing of this is very much related to the need for Israeli politicians to defend their population before the elections. Hamas feels exactly the same: it has to keep its electorate with it by showing that it is a resistance movement. There are negotiations going on – at least, there were before this started. They can recontinue, although it’s more difficult. And remember also, Jim, that the rockets are being thrown by the Fatah militants, Al Aqsa brigades, by Islamic Jihad – by people who are not Hamas. None of this comes out in public. The truth is just not being told about the current situation.
Sir Jeremy Greenstock, former UK ambassador to the United Nations, in a BBC interview aired Monday, Jan. 12.
This is the last answer to a much larger interview.
What I found interesting is that Greenstock claims the rockets going into Israel are being ‘thrown' by Fatah militants, Al Asqa brigades and Ilslamic Jihad ... not by Hamas.
If nothing else, it's something I did not know. The more information, the better.

Figuratively speaking, of course...
Posted by: hardboiled at January 14, 2009 11:15 PMThey think we are idiots. Baby seeking missiles indeed.
Posted by: loboy2k at January 14, 2009 11:20 PMI especially enjoyed the explanation that Jimmy Carter couldn't be there because "he was needed in North Korea for a missile-top photo-shoot."
Posted by: EBD at January 14, 2009 11:43 PMWhere are the towels? Durka, durka, durka.
“baby seeking missiles"
Those two look like they have goat seeking missiles.
It must be strange to be a 7th century religious nut bar in the 21st century.
Yes, laughing at them (while or not while killing them) is a good thing.
Posted by: Pat at January 15, 2009 12:40 AMI liked a political cartoon I read once:
A Jihadist teacher is standing in front of an eager wide eyed class with a suicide belt strapped to himself and his thumb on a detonator button.
He looks at the class and say’s – “now pay attention, I’m only going to show you this once”.

I watched the video, it was pretty damn funny. Then I went to the link provided by Deez.... and that nearly finished me off.
Granted, a little bit of gut breaking muscle work is always good, but all in moderation, otherwise a good beer belly may not survive.
Deez, you need to tag your links to let people know they are going to sites of Absolute Sheer Lunacy May Cause Death By Laughter: ASLMCDBL

Posted by: batb at January 15, 2009 7:36 AMOr, the suicide bomb school, where the teacher says, "Pay attention class, I'm only going to do this once."
Posted by: irwin daisy at January 15, 2009 8:30 AMWas the NEW YORK SLIMES,WASHINGTON COMPOST,ATLANTA URINAL CONSTIPATION,SLIME and NEWSREEK there?
Posted by: Spurwing Plover at January 15, 2009 12:43 PMAnd why is hamas going around to Egypt and other countries working out a peace deal? This is Israel's show now, hamas is getting its ass kicked, you cant make demands and and ask for things in return when losing a war, the only option they should have at this point(losing) is surrender take it or die. I think the world has forgotten how strong the Israeli army is and this is a good time to remind the world, maybe just maybe if they beat hamas enough then hizbullah or others might think twice.
Posted by: fred at January 15, 2009 1:39 PMNow THAT was funny.
In a sad, pathetic way, albeit.
I could not help but sense that dude on the right was looking really nervous, knowing that a Baby-Seeking missile is comin' his way soon.
I dont know if I want to laugh or puke nowadays.
Posted by: Zilla at January 15, 2009 8:16 PMFrenchie: I'm not too sure how you come to that conclusion.
"Democracy Now!’s War and Peace Report provides our audience with access to people and perspectives rarely heard in the U.S.corporate-sponsored media, including independent and international journalists, ordinary people from around the world who are directly affected by U.S. foreign policy, grassroots leaders and peace activists, artists, academics and independent analysts. In addition, Democracy Now! hosts real debates–debates between people who substantially disagree, such as between the White House or the Pentagon spokespeople on the one hand, and grassroots activists on the other."
What's laughable?
I don't find a bunch of people regurgitating western media propaganda and all agreeing with each other on it very insightful or useful...maybe laughable.
