I've often pointed out how the only people still believing in global climate change are those that are making a living from government provided funding... but not to any great degree of success. set you free, I think you're still behind the times. Recently, I've been noticing what seems to be a deliberate shift in the terminology from the Kool-Aid drinkers to Climate CRISIS.

What gets me is how it is 24/7 ecology. How to make environmentally-friendly Christmas crafts. How the Botanical Garden has a Green Santa.

How did the papers and tv news fill their pages and minutes before all this nonsense?

Lots of snow here in Montreal and not too many snow plows to be seen. But we have a Eco-Quartier in our neighbourhood that you can visit and get ideas on how to be a better citizen.

Now the Santa that lives here in rural Ontario is in a panic over the global warming raging outside this 4 days before Christmas. A 100horsepower tractor, dual auger blower, copious amount of diesel fuel and a 3/4 ton 4X4 pickup are required to get the wife's new tractor lawn mower gift outa his hiding spot. Minus 30 in the wind....where's the damn grass that is suppose to be needing to be cut with global warming?
And as Canadians don't we bar-b-que at these temperatures?

Here in Kingston we just got another 4", thats 'I don't have a clue' in metric, and it's not over.
To stave off the effects of Glow-ball warming I finally gave in, 'at 54 ', and purchased a new John Deere snow throwing unit, cause I just can't do it by hand anymore.

Well, over here on the Atlantic coastline in Saint John, I awoke to -19 degrees C, despite the famous moderating effects of the always-relatively-warm-in-winter waters of the Bay of Fundy on temperatures. Already snow's beginning to fall this afternoon, and we're facing up to a foot of snowfall tonight.

Nothing unusual about that, but it's unusual compared to some of the past several years, which saw warmer temps and less snow, causing the likes of Al Gore to cook up that big hoax of "global warming" and "climate change" based on just a few years' flukey-warm winters.

It's returning to normal, already, which is to say, cold and snowy, which is normal for Canada.

The reasonable person will not believe that the world is getting warmer when the see it getting colder, and unusually so, and snowy, in places where it's not supposed to, like Nevada, Florida, Texas, the Middle East... hell, they'll know we've got global COOLING, as warned about in the Seventies... OMG! It's finally happening... the Ice Age is coming back! And it must be our fault! Yep, it's our fault, for reducing carbon emissions, thus causing the world to get colder... OMG! There's going to be extinctions, we'll be unable to grow crops, etc... AHHHHH!

Ok, there's my breath of fresh reality... and unbridled sarcasm... for the day.

In a not so ironic twist out here in BC, since Gordon Campbell introduced his Carbon Tax (so he could look his grandchildren in the eye) there is an extra charge at the bottom of my gas bill.

The most alarming part of it for me is the sheer persistence of the global warming myth in the face of so much critical opposition by people whose reputations and credentials would not be ignored anyplace else.

Although there is a factor of malevolence as the useful idiots mindlessly use global warming as a way to trade social status for money and patronage.

However, the really spooky group are the authors of the lies and their refusal to acknowledge critical opionion even when it comes from unimpeachable sources.

Thought control. Manipulation of other human beings for their own selfish motives. Confidence schemes pressed on whole population groups. Unethical co-opting of politicians. Politicians who are so enamoured or fearful of the Deceit Group that they would rather self-destruct and lose their office than go against them.

We first ran into this in the US when overwhelming force pressured our Republican politicians to take care of the border. We finally had to literally weaken the Republican Party by throwing out of office a majority that had literally cost the lifetimes of some Republicans to achieve this majority.

The demonic influence was so acute that office holders would rather cut their own throat than acknowledge a tidal wave of public dissent.

Now these Deceit Groups are operating on a global scale. They are playing the music, and far too many are dancing to their tune.

OK, already; it is colder than a witch’s earlobe in Saskatchewan. It snowed Vegas. It is definitely cold in some places. I accept that. Notwithstanding the cold spell I think I saw a piece including a NASA satellite shot indicating that the artic ice cap is melting. Is the arctic ice cap doing anything unusual or is the earth going through menopause? Please advise.

The Kyoto objectives might ACTUALLY be in reach if we ended no-fault divorce and kiboshed the feminist movement, thereby making the family stronger.

Divorced people = 2 homes instead of one, which means two furnaces, two fridges, two cars and so on. If we actively cut back on divorce, we will become far more environmentally friendly. Also, with less homes, there will be less demand for trees which means protecting the rainforests etc. Yaddah yaddah yaddah...

Also, it is in the interests of fighting global warming that only one parent works while the other stays at home. This means less workplaces chugging out polution each day, and also less workplace furnaces, fridges etc. An added benefit of one parent staying home is that parent will have some extra time to grow a vegetable garden or tend to chickens and such, thus cutting down on the fossil fuels it takes to transport foodstuffs, and also the environmentally damaging large grocery stores will be reduced.

Children of two parent families where one parent stays home will also produce better balanced, more emotionally stable children - as even Stats-Canada clearly shows. This will mean less need for the vast army of social workers, and less money needed to heat their fancy offices. Since over 75% of people in prison come from broken homes, ending no-fault divorce will mean LESS prisons, less police, less courts and so on - including the extra resources the average joe burns just in order to pay taxes to support these justice programs.

It goes on and on.

Anyone SERIOUS about global warming while preaching about how DIRE the future is going to be if drastic measures are not taken, should surely be able to see that ending no-fault divorce and strengthening the family will have a MASSIVE impact on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

If 50% of marriages end in divorce... lets just guess that with the ending of no-fault, and actively encouraging families to work it out and stay married, we ought to be able to cut down on our housing/heating/fuel/social needs etc., by an easy 25% in a rather short amount of time.

Of course, this goes against EVERYTHING the left believes in, and they would never agree to it as destruction of the family is very high on the Marxist agenda.

But, then again, if it is that serious... drastic measures are needed, right? I'm sure Dr. Fruitfly will agree and actively campaign to end No-Fault Divorce... for the good of the planet.

And, if they are not interested in seriously debating the issue, then I certainly don't have to feel guilty for dismissing the absurdity of carbon taxes and other economically destructive ideas that are FAR more difficult to achieve than simply ending no-fault divorce.

Just to put to rest the myth you folks are trying to propagate that people are shying away from the term "global warming" and instead adopting the more neutral "climate change", here's an article from a mere couple of days ago in which "global warming" is used a great deal:

That story is full of weasil words like "may or may not" Those are not the words of settled science and indeed support the opinion that the Climate model was the work of a Jelly Bean J.O.
