Well now that harvest time is done in the forest and the nuts and seeds have been safely stored, Rodent Queen Elizabeth can now get back to Ottawa and collect even more nuts.

What follows is a snippet of an email i was forwarded from a CP MP today. I will not disclose his Identity for it is not my place to do so - though I doubt he would mind if I did.:

"Hi Folks:

I hope that some of you caught QP today. There was a prolonged and powerful Q and A exchange between the Prime Minister and Stephane Dion. Great theatre that you will see again on every newscast. You should go to the CPAC website and record it for posterity.

The PM has been quite ill lately, but he had the fire in his belly today. Stephane left the House at the end of their exchange.

After QP, about half our members stayed in their seats and about half went into the lobby. There were some petty points of order in the House that were drowned out by nosie from our lobby with chants of `Harper, Harper`and a spontaneous outbreak of Oh Canada. Very moving.

Have never seen the media gallery so full.

Libs were not looking so happy across the aisle today - I suspect that they`re getting a lot`of `s__t`calls from home. Keep up the pressure, you`re doing great.

Cheers,

----"

Iggy needs to bail on this thing before Saturday. There are demonstrations planned for every city in Alberta BC SK and elsewhere - even in the belly of the beast Toronto.

I am pleasantly shocked by the interest in these events - could be something special - something not seen since the referendum that (chretien)was nearly lost.

This coming Saturday could be an historic one - like Charlottetown's repudiation this will a scream back at the elites who think they can rule us. And we now what happened to the party that tried to push the accord down our throats...

As the slogan goes "The Conservative Party is Canada's Party".

Right now it looks like it is Canada's ONLY party...

....

This is latest post over at by Kinsella over at his site:

"
"In a time of universal deceit,
telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act."

George Orwell famously said that. He's right, of course.

I am heading off to sleep for a long while - it has been quite a collection of days.

Before I go, here's some fatherly advice: Be true to your heart and your mind, and you won't always be right. But you'll certainly sleep a lot better.

Good night, Canada."

Smells like defeat to me...

Maybe now a real purging of the corruption and machine politics of the left and centre-left can begin.

No matter how good it makes you feel to dis Elizabeth May, she’s the winner and we’re the losers.

"No matter how good it makes you feel to dis Elizabeth May, she’s the winner and we’re the losers."

Not yet, she's not. And she is butt-ugly.

Posted by: Soccermom at December 3, 2008 12:44 AM

Soccermom, do you mean on the inside?

Posted by: Shaken at December 3, 2008 12:48 AM

If this thing happens, one would hope that Harper will have the good sense to fill all of the Senate seats before it does. I believe there are 18 vacant seats awaiting "elected" senators. This situation calls for extraordinary measures. Filling these seats will keep the BQ and Liberals out....

Posted by: Bart at December 3, 2008 12:57 AM

Shaken... there is nothing attractive about Lizzie May, period.

Posted by: Ryan at December 3, 2008 1:07 AM

Count Floyd and fart bottler Fife say that a national poll says Harper should not be prime minister. The MSM in this country have sold themselves out big big time this time. These despicable bastards only focus is to start fights and then report on them. Playing with fire to make a story and get Harper, or as beer and popcorn Reid says,"kill him, kill him good" this is so surreal, is that not hate speech, just reverse that comment and say, Van Loan said that about Scooter Brison, we know what CTV and CBC would say, nothing.

Posted by: bartinsky at December 3, 2008 1:16 AM

" an offer I could sink my teeth into" whew.... did she really say that... could not make this shit up... Dion commits suicide takes Liberanos and dips with him.. just about perfect.. I dont trust them but I do trust Canadians, Liberal, Conservative, even some NDP"ers realize this is Bizzare and must be stopped when Duceppe is the only in the room telling the truth it is time to kick some sorry ass Go Stephen Harper you are the Man.no truck or trade with the traitors.
Cheers Bubba

I think PMSH held the line in QP yesterday and today.

Lizzy looks like she eat cobbed corn thru a picket fence. Your right Soccermom, she is butt ugly.

Elizabeth May does have a lovely telephone voice.
Pity it didn't come out during the debates
But she's still a twit.

Posted by: king_euvoran at December 3, 2008 2:10 AM

Nice nickel, I laughed, I cried, I polished my good tooth.

Posted by: uuess at December 3, 2008 8:59 AM

bartinsky - a national poll, with biased questions or even non-biased questions, cannot be the grounds for a nation's choice of a leader.

The only grounds is: an election. A poll cannot take the place of an election.

Posted by: ET at December 3, 2008 10:08 AM

What's she gonna do...gnaw her way into a portfolio?
Come Monday she will be saying what's that rumbling on the Hill? It's the tanks!!! No Lizzy Mae...it's farm tractors headed to the Hill with a rural Ontario support for Harper and the Conservatives rally!!!
The last time the lads went joy riding with the tractors in Ottawa they ended up at Stephi's election campaign launch. The young Liberals linked arms and wouldn't let them in the gate. Wasn't that a fine welcome.....? True story...I s**t ya not.

I really need to stop checking Ms. May's blog.

Fresh from her contraversy over calling Canadians stupid, she has a blog post It's the Economy Stupid.

She then tritely adds "I have a visceral dislike for calling anyone "stupid." (No doubt something to do with having a mother who believed in lady-like behaviour.)"

Wait for it. Wait for it. She couldn't stop.

E.May: "That said, those words have been running through my head like the Boston Marathon since last Thursday and the Harper Government's Financial Update. "
