"We run a newspaper"

"... not a memory book service".

Update - some are having trouble accessing that link, so here's another.

Getting an error message. Is that the point?

Worked for me, perhaps it the link was down temporarily.

And when I go to the Charlotte Daily Mail site, it won't load. Or, at least, I don't have the patience after 5 minutes to see if it will finish loading.

Message as per andycanuck.

Wow. I was able to open it on this old, slow, inefficient computer. Maybe it's "up" now.

I can't say I agree with not reporting the election of the next POTUS on the front page, but I can certainly sympathize with the urge not to.

At least they reported the local election results!

Maybe Sympatico can't access the site for some arcane IT reason? But the new link works fine, Kate.

BTW, considering how often Obama has been on the front page of the Star over the past week, maybe we can send copies of them to the believers for their scrapbooks?

After talking to my brother living near, TERRELL Texas, had Obama BEEN on the cover, those 12 protesters would have looked like a couple of hundred.

First link works fine. The Forney Rabbits??? Wouldn't touch that with a 100' pole.

Anybody else notice in our newspapers that printed comments from all around the world on the Obamba victory, headlines from their papers, quotes from their leaders, etc, there was none from Israel? Funny that.

Hey, keep that reading of the MSM papers to a minimum, OK? Their over-the-top bias might start to have an effect.

I don't know about anybody else, but the over-exposure of THE ONE on every TV, paper, and online news sites was bordering on the maniacal.

All Obama, all the time!

Sorry, I had better things to do......and his honeymoon will be over soon enough, can hardly wait!

"We run a newspaper, not a memory book service,..."

Great quote. I wonder how commissioner-elect Jackson feels about his memory book insert. Bet he's kind of torn being both black and a Democrat.
