The memo is probably necessary. Unionized workers tend to get pretty greedy with "free" stuff. Our workplace had to ration the Xmas food. Otherwise the first half of the workers would gorge themselves and leave nothing but turnips and salad for the remaining half. Basically this is a good example Socialism 101 in action. heh.

Union workers and free pizza,never get between the two. I worked at a place that provided about a dozen free xl pizzas for about 40 workers. It was early so instead of jousting with the initial rush I worked for another hour . When I got to the lunchroom,there was still two pizzas left,but one of my comrades had stripped the toppings off of them and left just the crust.Solidarity forever.

Tell me about it Wallyj! At our place,every Monday and every last Friday of the month we get brekkie and a lunch laid on. If you ain't got a rifle,then the only alternative is to get out the front door fast and mug the delivery guy!!
