"Did he miss that she's the Governor now?"

Yep.

'Course, you have to remember: she's an uppity snowbilly breeder with a retrograde hairdo and a K-Mart wardrobe (but we must condemn her for both that wardrobe and the new one her handlers made her wear for part of the campaign).

How could somebody like that ever run the Office of Vice-President?

(/sarc off)

Posted by: Garth Wood at October 29, 2008 7:13 PM

Cost to look up the numbers on the State of Alaska's number of gov't employees and the state's monthly budget = $95 for monthly Internet service

Cost to crunch how much larger Sarah Palin's responsibilities as governor are compared to Barack Obama's campaign responsibilities = $5.99 cheap calculator at Walmart

Glenn's closing facial expression...priceless.

Posted by: sooz at October 29, 2008 7:14 PM

Dopes! Maybe it's because Sarah is a female, who knows how to get things done, that would scare lefties for sure. Get with the program Sarah, your supposed to talk a good line, but never actually do anything useful, like run a state.

Glen Back is one of the sharper guys out there today. Funnier than Colbert and Stewart and way more intelligent as well. I look forward to seeing him surpass Katie Couric in viewership over the next year or so. Just a hint to the networks (CBS, ABC, NBC) hemorrhaging viewers and money, put this guy where everyone can see him every night.

Posted by: Shawn at October 29, 2008 7:16 PM

Now you know why Glenn Beck disappeared from the Cable Negro Network's lineup. Too bad Fox won't be able to get him on the air immediately.

Posted by: dp at October 29, 2008 7:17 PM

You lost that one, Barack!

Posted by: dmorris at October 29, 2008 7:18 PM

I enjoy watching Glenn Beck, but I have to admit he makes me cringe sometimes when he goes into "clown mode" - pandering to the lowest common denominator.

He makes many good points, and would sound way more convincing overall if he wasn't so - well - goofy sometimes.

I confess my bias upfront, women, mother, happily married{24 years},farmer, self employed husband,2 kids in university, oldest already graduated employed in Calgary, hockey mom{goalies...get the stress] a Glen Beck fan and a conservative. I have seen this video before and thank god for the internet. That being said it may not come as a surprise that I enjoy the energy ,positive message and determination of Sarah Palin. Come what may she has given hope and a voice to millions of "real people " on both sides of the border. So glad Beck is coming to Fox ,frees up my PVR.

Posted by: lanarklady at October 29, 2008 7:49 PM

But...but...but....

Sarah Palin is a WOMAN, who apparently knows how to shoot a GUN!!!!! OmiGod...this is a disaster...

All lefties should be afraid, be very, very afraid, of this demon...threatening the election of "THE ONE"....

Posted by: Bruce at October 29, 2008 7:54 PM

don't believe the polls - America is not ready for Obama's socialist tendencies....

The Messiah is simply speaking to the poor in ways that they can understand.

Posted by: shaken at October 29, 2008 8:37 PM

Obama knows the MSM will not get off their lazy asses and actually investigate these claims.

The MSM is so in the tank for BO, they have decided the time has come for a black POTUS and any the first candidate that comes along is their Annointed One.

The lazier they get, the greedier Obama gets.

Posted by: Fred at October 29, 2008 8:41 PM

Obviously Barrack Obama does not have the mental capacity to be President.

Facts, shmacts. :)

Posted by: mark peters at October 29, 2008 8:55 PM

Anybody try watching the show that replaced G. Becks show? Some screeching Jane woman right off an entertainment show who LOVES Barack Obama. Tonights show was especially galling as the show turned into a Sarah Palin bashing on a sexist level not common for a main stream (so to speak) show. If the show's repeated it'd be nice if someone could record this and you-tube it. I'm sure SDA, Michelle, or Hot Air would love to expose the hate.

Posted by: Boots at October 29, 2008 9:23 PM

The 'fact' that she is Commander in Cheif of the 49th Missile defence Battalion of the Alaska National Guard, and is regularly briefed on security, terrorism and homeland security has been overlooked as well.
Maybe she was dumbing it down for the media.

Posted by: bluetech at October 29, 2008 9:25 PM

haha

Glenn Beck is a Moron, so is Palin

cant wait until the 5th, watch all you righties heads explode.

Get used to saying this

BO either proves the empty suit he is or is taking advantage of a press that's in the tank for him. Either is not good.

It's not just the MSM either, the GOP are doing a good job of trying to lose this too.

Maybe that's the plan ;-) 4 years of the DNC and the voters will be flocking back to the GOP - (got some land for sale - real cheap - yep)

Posted by: LEDA at October 29, 2008 9:47 PM

Only if you live in the middle-east, Glenn.

Posted by: SKite in AB at October 29, 2008 9:58 PM

Glenn, let's look at the numbers shall we. In past elections the Dems have always gone into an election with the polls giving them a 6 to 8% edge over what they actually wound up getting in votes. Similarily, BO, in the primaries typically got 5% more in polling than what he wound up with in votes. Given that current polls show McCain with the Momentum AND a statistical tie (plus or minus a point or two) I would say that McCain will walk away with a clear victory.

Another advantage for McCain is that undecided voters are more likely to fall back on something that is known rather than vote for "The cult of personality"... which is all that Obama is. The guy has absolutely no experience in running anything, or taking responsibility for anything...he's a socialist/communist through and through. See you back here on the 5th.

Now the unknown in all this is just how much vote rigging there is going to be by ACORN.

Posted by: johnboy at October 29, 2008 10:44 PM

Hey Glen,

It's "Barack hussEin obama" you moron! Spelt with an "E" not an "A".

Considering that He's your reason for living I would have thought you'd at least spell his name right!

Posted by: Paul M at October 29, 2008 10:50 PM

Hey the O'man has been good for the economy down here as well. Gun sales are up 8-10%!

"Get used to saying this

The name will continue to be 'Junior Senator.'

In the same realm as 'Corporal Hitler.'

Posted by: irwin daisy at October 29, 2008 10:56 PM

I think Barack is going to go to war with Canada.

Oil, and fresh water.
You heard it here........

Posted by: eastern paul at October 29, 2008 11:04 PM

I'm surprised I don't hear of Glenn Beck more often on this site. He is good.

He certainly dissected and reassembled the numbers Obama's team pulled from their collective asses.

Posted by: Canadian Observer at October 29, 2008 11:22 PM

If Sarah Palen looked more like, say, Golda Maier, or Libby Davies, she'd be more acceptable to the masses, but she is BEAUTIFUL and has brains too!! This is just too much for the lowly American (or Canadian, sadly) voter and is therefore the subject of ridicule. She really is a "looker" and I'd vote for her in a heartbeat.

Posted by: Shirley at October 29, 2008 11:42 PM

I sadly believe that Americans are going to elect this empty helmet President. By about six months from now there is going to be a collective scratching of heads asking themselves "what the fu-k did we do?"

Hey Glenn you ultra ma-roon

The voting machines used in the upcoming election are supplied by DIEBOLD CORPORATION

A well known Republican owned and operated company.

You think they are going to ALLOW Barry O. to win?

Get used to saying this

President John McCain

Has a nice ring doesn't it

Posted by: Mr.g at October 29, 2008 11:46 PM

johnboy - I suggest you look at your numbers from the last Presidential Election. You'll notice that, besides the exit polls, the American voters voted very closely to the polling data. In 2000, George Bush had a lead just days prior to the election being held. Suddenly, Gore made some inroads and the race tightened. What happened on election day? An incredibly close presidential race where Gore narrowly captured the popular vote. I'm not sure more undecideds will choose "more of the same" over a "cult of personality." But then again, they are undecideds, so you might be right.

As for ACORN, isn't registering to vote and voting two entirely different things? I've heard ACORN, Ayers, ACORN, Ayers, ACORN, Ayers repeated so many times that it's lost meaning to me.

Posted by: Ebla at October 30, 2008 5:48 AM

Elba, registering to vote and voting are indeed two different things although related and one generally proceeds the other. Consider though if a person or organization is willing to break the law with one (registering) then breaking the law to do the second (voting)isn't that far of a stretch. No purple thumb test to prove you aren't Mickey Mouse or Jimmy John.

Kind of like B&E and theft, illegal registeration and fraudulent voting go hand in hand.

It is five days from the election and still nobody has given the first actual achievement Obama has ever made, aside from winning the nomination. It is stunning really.

Posted by: Tim in Vermont at October 30, 2008 10:24 PM

Did anyone else notice that BO clearly called the town "Wa-silly" as opposed to "Wasilla"? It was a deliberate attempt to denigrate her time as Mayor, IMO.
