"Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.""I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate," Biden said to Emerald City supporters, mentioning the Middle East and Russia as possibilities. "And he's gonna need help. And the kind of help he's gonna need is, he's gonna need you - not financially to help him - we're gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it's not gonna be apparent initially, it's not gonna be apparent that we're right."

This election may very well be leading us to a fundamental change in our society, our values and our way of life. The great American backstop to our way of life may very well disappear in the coming years. Our way of life being, the Canadian way.

from Salim Mansur's sat sun column
In 1985 Obama moved to Chicago and there discovered Alinsky through his disciples and writings. It is the Alinsky connection that compellingly reveals Obama's career.
Among those with whom Obama worked in Chicago's corrupt politics were the radical preachers Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Father Michael Pfleger, the unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, and the convicted felon Antoin Rezko.
Alinsky was a radical socialist. He invented community organizing as a political camouflage for subverting America's democracy and capitalist economy.
In Rules For Radicals, Alinsky described the means and ends of his politics as did Karl Marx in the Communist Manifesto. Alinsky wrote, "Make the enemy live up to their (sic) own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity."
This is the Trojan horse principle of destroying the enemy -- capitalism and democracy -- from the inside

Posted by: OMMAG at October 20, 2008 9:56 PMWell ...
the left and their friendly media have been telling us for about two years an economic crisis was coming, and we now know why they knew it was coming; They were the ones working hard causing an economic crisis that would happen just in time to blame it - lying through their teeth - on Bush/Republicans a few weeks before election time.
And now Biden is warning of some crisis in precise terms - in 6 months - ( how does he know that???) that will test Obama?
I think the democrats have some carefully planned and completely manufactured crisis waiting on the back burner that they will use in an attempt to turn Obama into the great legendary leader...or in an attempt to turn the USA into some socialist nation.
If Obama is elected - which I doubt he will - he will make a big mess, possibly a dangerous mess.
If he tries imposing socialism on Americans, there will be riots.
If he uses military moneys to give free health care he will embolden enemies of the USA and possibly encourage attacks on the USA.
But then again if Obama is not elected there will also be riots because the Obama disciples have been brainwashed into believing Obama is entitled to the presidency.
I'm 49 years old and for the first time in my life I am a bit worried about the future of the USA.
And if the USA is in trouble, then we Canadians will be affected to an extent...
That Obama socialist - with his shady friends and mentors which he constantly lies about - is not very reassuring...

Some Curious Guys in Obama's neighbourhood.
The Father: Barak Obama Senior
http://gregransom.com/prestopundit/2008/04/gregs-guide-to-barack-obamas-d.html
Barack Obama's father, a Harvard trained economist, attacked the economic proposals of [Kenya’s] pro-Western 'third way" leader Tom Mboya from the socialist left, siding with communist-allied leader Oginga Odinga.
The author is given as "Barak H. Obama" and his paper is titled "Problems Facing Our Socialism", published July, 1965 in the East African Journal. Barak Senior proposed the following communist agenda for Kenya;
1. Obama advocated the communal ownership of land and the forced confiscation of privately controlled land, as part of a forced "development plan", an important element of his attack on the government's advocacy of private ownership, land titles, and property registration. (p. 29)
2. Obama advocated the nationalization of "European" and "Asian" owned enterprises, including hotels, with the control of these operations handed over to the "indigenous" black population. (pp. 32 -33)
3. Obama advocated dramatically increasing taxation on "the rich" even up to the 100% level.
4. Obama advocated government owned and operated "model farms" as a means of teaching modern farming techniques to farmers.
5. Obama contrasts the ill-defined and weak-tea notion of "African Socialism" negatively with the well-defined ideology of "scientific socialism", i.e. communism. Obama views "African Socialism" pioneers like Nkrumah, Nyerere, and Toure as having diverted only "a little" from the capitalist system. (p. 26)
The Mother: Ann Dunham
http://en.metapedia.org/wiki/Stanley_Ann_Dunham
During Obama's campaign for the 2008 Presidential Election he portrayed his mother as a conservative girl from Kansas; however in reality she was a radical leftist and Cultural Marxist. She lived in the Seattle area; spending her teenage years in Seattle’s coffee shops with other young leftist radicals. Obama claims his mother's family were conservative Methodists or Baptists from Kansas. However his mother's parents were members of a left wing Unitarian Church near Seattle. The church located in Bellevue was nicknamed "the little red church," because of its communist leanings.
The school Ann attended, Mercer Island High School, was a hotbed of pro-Marxist radical teachers. John Stenhouse, board member, told the House Un-American Activities Subcommittee that he had been a member of the Communist Party USA and this school has a number of Marxists on it's staff. Two teachers at this school, Val Foubert and Jim Wichterman, both Frankfurt School style Marxists, taught a critical theory curriculum to students which included; rejection of societal norms, attacks on Christianity, the traditional family, and assigned readings by Karl Marx. The hallway between Foubert’s and Wichterman classrooms was sometimes called "anarchy ally."
The Grandfather: Stanley Armour Dunham
http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/07/what_barack_obama_learned_from.html
Stanley Armour Dunham was “progressive” enough to enroll his daughter Ann in Mercer Island High and introduced his grandson Barack to Frank Marshall Davis.
The mentor: Frank Marshall Davis
http://www.aim.org/aim-column/obamas-communist-mentor/
However, through Frank Marshall Davis, Obama had an admitted relationship with someone who was publicly identified as a member of the Communist Party USA (CPUSA). The record shows that Obama was in Hawaii from 1971-1979, where, at some point in time, he developed a close relationship, almost like a son, with Davis, listening to his "poetry" and getting advice on his career path. But Obama, in his book, Dreams From My Father, refers to him repeatedly as just "Frank."
The reason is apparent: Davis was a known communist who belonged to a party subservient to the Soviet Union. In fact, the 1951 report of the Commission on Subversive Activities to the Legislature of the Territory of Hawaii identified him as a CPUSA member. What's more, anti-communist congressional committees, including the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC), accused Davis of involvement in several communist-front organizations.
Community Organizer Guru: Saul Alinsky
http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/01/obamas_alinsky_jujitsu.html
Obama answered a help-wanted ad for a position as a community organizer for the Developing Communities Project (DCP) of the Calumet Community Religious Conference (CCRC) in Chicago. Both the CCRC and the DCP were built on the Alinsky model of community agitation, wherein paid organizers learned how to "rub raw the sores of discontent," in Alinsky's words.
The agitator's job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the "realization" that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, and to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments and corporations will see imminent "self-interest" in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease.
In these methods, euphemistically labeled "community organizing," Obama had a four-year education, which he often says was the best education he ever got anywhere.
The Preacher: Jeremiah Wright
http://www.independentconservative.com/2007/03/03/obama_church/
We have prayerfully called the wisdom of all past generations of suffering Blacks for guidance in fashioning an instrument of Black self-determination, the Black Value System.
Commitment of God (read that again: not “Commitment to God” but “Commitment of God”)
The God of our weary years will give us the strength to give up prayerful passivism and become Black Christian Activist, soldiers for Black freedom and the dignity of all humankind.
Disavowal of the Pursuit of Middleclassness
Classic methodology on control of captives teaches that captors must keep the captive ignorant educationally, but trained sufficiently well to serve the system. Also, the captors must be able to identify the ?talented tenth? of those subjugated, especially those who show promise of providing the kind of leadership that might threaten the captor?s control.
The Terrorist Educator: Bill Ayers
Is there anyone who doesn’t know about Bill the Terrorist Education Specialist?

Posted by: Texas Canuck at October 21, 2008 6:13 AMUS intelligence: Iran will be able to build first nuclear bomb by February
US intelligence’s amended estimate, that Iran will be ready to build its first bomb just one month after the next US president is sworn in, is disclosed by DEBKAfile’s Washington sources as having been relayed as a guideline to the Middle East teams of both presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama.
The information prompted the assertion by Democratic vice presidential nominee Joseph Biden in Seattle Sunday, Oct. 19: “It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy.”...
I read something on Hugh Hewitt's Blog about these comments made by Biden.
Apparently, Obamo-Biden and McCain-Palin are now being briefed regularly by the White House about what is really going on in the world and how the White House is moving on these issues. The Blog suggests that Biden may have come very close to blabbing something that he should not have. The most likely suggested scenario is that Israel will strike Iran and that Obama will stand aside in the aftermath (requiring Americans to be patient and stand with him).
Posted by: cconn at October 21, 2008 10:38 AMI didn't see the comment by Charles MacDonald before I posted but I think that Charles is right in that it probably has to do with Iran.
What Biden has done is almost show the US hand - and he has possibly let Iran and Israel know how Obama would respond.
Campaign trail pure Bidenism. I can't believe he is prognosticating anything more than the 'O' will always be correct in any response. As far as radical rapid change, socialists are too smart for that. Remember the US is the big prize and they are not going to want blow their opportunity. Death by a 1000 cuts, just like here in Canada.
Posted by: Mike_RoA at October 21, 2008 12:29 PMI agree with Biden.
I also think that Obama will get the world into a shooting war.
He's too full of himself to negotiate sensibly.
Here we are, two weeks from the election, and nobody can yet provide a single accomplishment for the empty suit Obama.
The real question isn't whether Obama is up to the task, there is simply no evidence that he is, the real question is "is Obama's teleprompter up to the test?"
The whole Joe the Plumber fiasco came from him getting away from his teleprompter momentarily.
Posted by: Tim in Vermont at October 21, 2008 1:06 PMI also agree with Rush on this. Biden is basically asking that the country not engage in the tactics against Obama that Obama's supporters used against Bush.

The Communists, in theory, must destroy the US constitution to succceed in world domination... Joe is just prepping the dolts for a constitutional change to individual rights.. Clinton will go to the UN and the game will be ON
The US, in a generation, will become a dictatorship and dominate the world.
Beware.. Communism is just another tool to facism.
The American election campaign has revealed, as never before, how disgusting government has become.
A pretentious fraud vs. a stage-managed anachronism.
The fraud claims to want more government.
