Abu Qaswarah, al Qaeda in Iraq's second in command who was killed by US forces in Mosul, was a naturalized Swedish citizen who was wanted by United States, according to information obtained by The Long War Journal.Abu Qaswarah, whose real name is Mohamed Moumou, was killed in Mosul during an Oct. 5 raid on an al Qaeda command center. He detonated his vest after being mortally wounded and killed three women and three children.
The US military said Abu Qaswarah was a Moroccan who trained in al Qaeda camps in Pakistan and Afghanistan in the 1990s. He had close connections with Abu Musab al Zarqawi, the slain leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, and commanded al Qaeda forces in northern Iraq before being appointed second in command.
In the meantime, America seems to have no intention of giving Cambodiastan a free ride ... click.

It's about time that it started raining bombs in the cesspool of humanity that is the Afghan-Pakistan frontier. If they'd started this a few years ago we'd be miles ahead in the war on terror and many coalition lives would have been spared. Who knows, we might have smoked Bin Hidin' by now.
No doubt, Sweden-istan will now pay very generous widow-and-orphan benefits to the late Swede Abu Qaswarah's family.
Abu Qaswarah gets his 72 virgins and his family gets a free ride, courtesy of the Swedish taxpayers.

"...Today's strike was the first since Oct. 11, when US Predators hit a safe house run by the Haqqani family in North Waziristan. Two days prior, the US hit another safe house in North Waziristan, where more than 30 senior Taliban and al Qaeda leaders are said to have been meeting.
US officials familiar with the Oct. 9 strike The Long War Journal they believe the operation was compromised by Pakistani intelligence, as the meeting was abruptly broken up just 10 minutes prior to the strike. Six low-level al Qaeda operatives and three others were killed in airstrike. No senior leaders were killed in the attack..."
It should also be remembered that during the Clinton Administration, Bill Clinton ordered a massive cruise missile attack on an Afghan Al Qaeda camp, in order to specifically kill Bin Laden and his top assistants. The Pakistanis were informed by the US as the cruise missiles were flying over Pakistan towards their Afghanistan target. A few minutes later, Bin Laden and his top men were observed hurriedly leaving the camp.
