Hey Revnant, thanks to your little exchange with Syncro, I just paid my first visit to his Blog. Some of it is a bit sophomoric but most of it is funny as hell. You're too tough on the young lad (at least I assume that Syncro is a young lad.)

My uniques in Sept were over 120,000, thanks in part to over 20,000 from a link from Malkin. That is triple what they were this time last year.

Usually I am 100,000 uniques a month according to Sitemeter, which they say is always a bit off.

All I know is that I get a daily visit from the CHRC, actually multiple daily visits. That tells me at least one of 2 things.

1) I am the next CHRC Victim
2) CHRC staff are at least as sophomoric as I

I've always been puzzled by the fact that various "top blogs" lists never seem to explain what the criteria are for the rankings. They do give numbers, though, and these numbers show that blogs with lower readership rank higher than going-concern, influential, active blogs with higher readership.

Now I know why they don't explain: it's obviously a very arcane, subjective science that's just too complicated to explain. It's like figure skating, or Boxing matches held in Vegas.

Sophomoric or stone stupid is my aim, thanks for noticing. As far as I'm aware there is no Syncro-Kate hostility....I have the greatest respect for Kate and her work on this site. A breathe of sane and intelligent air in an information age that seems to be dominated by leftist smug.

While I have never personally met Kate, I have had occasion to communicate with her via e-mail and on her site regarding current events and find Kate to exactly what you see on SDA. Integrity personified.
