Posted by: Dave in Guelph at September 30, 2008 10:21 PMTeleprompters allow one to talk all knowingly - even though a brain is not in gear.
Posted by: ron in kelowna at September 30, 2008 10:25 PMFor you Frank Zappa fans out there, this XD-235 reminds me of the 'XQJ-37 Nuclear-Powered Pansexual Roto-Plooker' of Joe's Garage fame!
Posted by: Eskimo at September 30, 2008 10:35 PMI subscribe to Iowahawk's you tube list.
Have you seen his rocket/rocketcar stuff ?
Cool music too.
Posted by: richfisher at September 30, 2008 10:40 PMThere is a reason Dave Burge is running for President. I believe he has a whole third of the town council behind him (unarmed, I understand).
Posted by: Porter at September 30, 2008 10:41 PMIowahawk I love you! In a gay way!

Posted by: syncrodox at September 30, 2008 11:53 PMOK - so why don't McCain's people put together a montage of the many examples of Obama stuttering in an ad? This dope is full of these examples and McCain should jump all over this.
Posted by: a different Bob at October 1, 2008 12:00 AMPriceless,funny... in a sad way and very scary
I guess a lot of people are so brain drained by over saturation of media input these days that you can hear their brains(what's left of them) screaming out for more of that technicolor drug...no matter how big a con job it is.
They don't care as long as they get more and lots more ...of that mindless dribble.
So go OB...you're just the man!
Posted by: simon at October 1, 2008 12:09 AMWere this John McCain the MSM would be all over this like white on rice.
Posted by: Gord Tulk at October 1, 2008 12:20 AMOh don't be so hard on Obama, just because he can't think on his feet without the teleprompter is no reason to ridicule the man. No, wait, sure it is.
I have noticed over the past few weeks that Obama says he has passed all these laws. Must be a lonely place up there on Capital Hill, just him, nobody else. Passing all those laws must be very tiring, no wonder he has trouble speaking, he's just plum tuckered out.
Posted by: John Nicklin at October 1, 2008 1:07 AMHmm.. Obama's rep for rhetoric has about as much credibility as Hillary's rep for competence. Maybe these guys get tired or confused, but geez - but, but, hold on, but, hold on, I passed ,I passed, I passed - what kind of incoherent nonsense is that?
Posted by: KevinB at October 1, 2008 2:27 AMa diff bob
McCains people would be better to demonstrate the Dems involvement in the FM-FM problems ...and their blatant denial and refusal to intervene earlier. However the depth of that economic breakdown may be too much for the electorate to absorb. They are used to Oprah telling them what to think.
Obama sounds like he is doing a very bad Jimmy Stewart impression.
