(Makes one long for a return to a more innocent "knife in the back" time...)
Posted by Kate at September 29, 2008 9:11 PMHe's such a goober. Everything about the man is awkward. It's not just his English that makes me cringe.
Posted by: Soccermom at September 29, 2008 9:21 PMMy gosh, the expression on his face!
"Do you think it's izzy to kiss men?"
Someone likes him a lot...or else he's a mafiosi or a Librano bigwig and he has just given Stephane "the kiss of death"lol...priceless

Posted by: john begley at September 29, 2008 9:23 PMI actully tried to give Dion the benefit of the doubt.
I plowed through a bunch of CTV videos of his stumpings.
I got to the Women in Polotics video and what I saw made me cringe.
It was really really bad (horrific actually).
The worst thing, other than his awckward speach, was how he blew off Ruby Dhalla.
What a waste of time!
Posted by: Zilla at September 29, 2008 9:28 PMjust got the Jennifer Pollock pamphlet in the mail.
so I checked out the "self processed" hockey mom on her website. www.jenniferpollock.ca
she must rank as the smartest MP ever. she graduated in 1977 with a BSc in zoology. she is self declared as 49 years old , making her a graduate at 18 and obviously a university starter at the tender age of fourdeen ( as danny williams would say)
Posted by: cal2 at September 29, 2008 9:31 PMRemember, these are politicians.
I'm sure on Vancouver's westside they just got a big boost in the polls.
Posted by: Canadian Observer at September 29, 2008 9:33 PMIsn't that Robert Fife?

Posted by: maz2 at September 29, 2008 9:38 PMBob Rae sucking the life out of poor little Dion, aka Kenny off of south park. "Give me your blood, then I will become king of the liberals!"
Posted by: Honey Pot at September 29, 2008 9:38 PMAnd, by coincidence, Bob Rae will be attending a christening on October 14.

Posted by: wallyj at September 29, 2008 9:55 PMHead Vampire Dion? He is wayyyy too wimpy for that.
Posted by: Sam23 at September 29, 2008 10:02 PMDion's upset that he didn't get a reach-around while getting knifed.:0
Posted by: Rednik at September 29, 2008 10:19 PMGet a room already!
Posted by: Edward Teach at September 29, 2008 10:20 PMYuck all around: Bob Rae kissing Dion at a MARK HOLLAND rally! These guys are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.
Posted by: batb at September 29, 2008 10:21 PMJudas Rae?
Posted by: cal2 at September 29, 2008 10:22 PMBoob Rae definitely going for the jugular. Dion seemed tickled with the attention.
Boob Rae is very, he's also into skinny dipping.
Oops, missed a word there, that should read , Boob Rae is very versatile...
Posted by: Liz J at September 29, 2008 10:46 PMTwo men kissing makes me ill. Liberals make me ill. The doctors tell me I will feel much better on the morning of Oct 15
Posted by: Arnie Madsen at September 29, 2008 10:48 PMWill the Roman Centurions move in now?
Posted by: Ghost of Ed at September 29, 2008 10:52 PMcal2:
She also got accepted to UoC Law at age 44, received her LLB in 2003 (3 year program), and now it is 4-5 years later (depending on which month she was born in. 44+3+4=51
Maybe she was in charge of the numbers for the Green Shift...(oop, almost forgot the f)...them Liberals sure do got a funny way with numbers, must be that new curriculum...
Posted by: SKite in AB at September 29, 2008 10:54 PMIt is insulting, really, on the part of Rae. It's kind of an alpha male display that shows he doesn't take Dion seriously.
Posted by: EBD at September 29, 2008 11:06 PMYou are right EBD, It may have been done to embarass Stephane. On the other hand Rae is running in Bill Graham's old riding and couldn't help himself.
Posted by: wallyj at September 29, 2008 11:30 PMfirst, finish swallowing that cup of coffee...
1. Go to google images
2 Search for brezhnev and honecker
see the resemblance?
'yer welcome!

and the website says directly 49
I think liberals all lie no matter what the subject
Remember skite and Cal2 this phoney fool was a part of I think the only school board to ever be dissolved in Alberta, her and Teresa Woopass if I remember correct. This snide bi..h couldn't accept an expired parking meter without blaming a conservative somewhere. Some people have memories Jennifer, and oh yes her mommy is a playright that the mean old conservatives probably took funding away from.
Posted by: bartinsky at September 30, 2008 1:42 AMthat school board led by Teresa Woo-Paw was dissolved on 20 august 1999 by former Learning Minister Dr. Lyle Oberg. It was in his words, "completely dysfunctional".
I miss having government ministers that were not afraid to speak exactly what is in their mind.
It's sad that it may take the 2 billion dollar carbon burial led by former premier Don Getty, to bring us back to reality... after all the last time he was in charge it took a real premier a dozen years to repair the damage. (this debt free province?)
Shouldn't their be some sort of retirement village that former government employees can go and we'll promise not to bother them if they just stay out of the limelight and away from the check books?
Posted by: marc in calgary at September 30, 2008 2:08 AMShouldn't their be some sort of retirement village that former government employees can go
Sort of like a witness relocation thingie?
Posted by: PiperPaul at September 30, 2008 2:25 AMYou can almost hear the sucking sound.
Posted by: richfisher at September 30, 2008 3:11 AMRub salt on Bob Rae and he'll drop right off.
Leaches, Liberals, same dif.
Arnie: "The doctors tell me I will feel much better on the morning of Oct 15"
I sure hope so.
BTW, who's "she" with the law degree, cal2? "Teresa, marc in calgary?
Posted by: batb at September 30, 2008 9:00 AM"Slurp. Slurp."
Posted by: irwin daisy at September 30, 2008 9:08 AMI think it's obvious that Bob Rae doesn't take Dion seriously. He's mocking him.
So why should we take him seriously? You have to admit it was a stroke of genious for the Tories to immediately run the "Not a Leader" ads right after the Lib convention.
Posted by: Soccermom at September 30, 2008 10:04 AMEven Bob Rae fell for it.

And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him
But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
