From the looks of Taliban Jack's recently issued spending promises, he plans to use your money instead of his own to help the "have-nots".

Well, you have to have money before you can give it away. Layton and his ilk would tax these poor souls to the point where they wouldn't have the extra cash to give to charities and foundations.

His "tax the rich" policies would drive business out of Canada and the jobs that those businesses provide would be gone. That would be "looking out for the little guy." But then again, we could have state run factories and businesses, all run by union officials. A true workers' revolution.

Jack's the reliving his class warfare childhood dreams.

When he wanted to grow up and be just like Che, or Fidel or Karl.

As someone who works as a fundraiser in the charitable sector I can tell you this is true. Further conservatives donate more than liberals. Conservate values are such that those people support those community ideals that interest them: health, sports, arts, environment etc. Liberals (including socialists) believe the goverment should take care of everything and therefore are not philanthropic. Tis another reason why CPC is doing so will with grassroots fundrasing and the Libs, NDP and Greens don't. CPC's by their conservative nature believe in giving to organizations that express their personal values and will cough up personally for things they feel are important.

Look at the charitable sector... why do you suppose that churchs/mosques/synagogues get 68% of the philantropic dollar from indivudals in Canada and why the environmental sector receives less than 2% of that dollar.

Entrepreneurs give away more of their money and Jack Layton just wants to increase that giving by making it involuntary.

The Jack Laytons of this world--and let's throw in most of the Librano$ too--always want to be Sugar Daddies WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY.

MY MONEY.

YOUR MONEY.

MY KIDS' MONEY.

Never trust a socialist. They'll always insist on loving "the working man," and then they'll rob him blind in order to get elected again...and again...and again.

NO THANKS.
