"My integrity is not on the line"

Stephen Taylor has the Youtube of CPAC catching the Garth Turner campaign team in just a small sleight of hand.

Garth? Integrity? You GOTTA be kidding.

What a thing of beauty to listen to that shmuck try to talk his way out of this!! What a phoney loser he is. I hope he goes down in flames on election night.

Way to go CPAC for following up on this. I hope this story stays on the front burner for a long time.

Apparently Garth missed the Libs elction seminar: If you cheat, don't get caught.

lolgarthturner

That's about all I can say about this buffoon.

Sentinel along with some others have pwned Garth over the past several weeks. This is just icing on the cake.

That is hilarious!! Garth Turner is a dolt. It's always the guy that thinks he's the smartest in the room, that obviously isn't.

are we looking at Lizzie May's second Green Mem.ofParl??

What a lying sack of...

Esther just became a speed bump.

Posted by: Lycan Stark at September 16, 2008 5:50 AM

Years ago, Garth called me at home, looking for support on his attempt to become the Conservative candidate in my riding.
I told him that one of my biggest concerns was the need for less government.
The pregnant pause when I said that, was all the information I needed to know.

So Garth is throwing Esther under the bus after all those years of service. Which naturally leads me to think Garth is a cold employer what with never having met Esther's son lo these many years.

Yep, like any politician of the "fool'em" school, Garth knew NOTHING about this!

Hard to believe, Mr.Turner, and I,for one, do NOT!

Posted by: dmorris at September 16, 2008 9:07 AM

Yes, Turner has thrown Esther under the bus. But I don't feel sorry for her. She, her son and Turner obviously planned this. The collusion is evident. Usually the media leans left, no secret about that. But, if you get caught using them, they'll hunt you down like the Terminator, no matter what party you belong to. Turner's site is now being furiously filtered.
But bloggers will not let this go, and I don't think CPAC will either.

The Halton Hypocrite has supposedly been canvassing his constituents for the last week , he knew a random interview was too dangerous to get a positive comment so they tried to pull a sting with Esther being the proud stage mother directing her son to play "Ordinary Halton Person"with Garth acting naturally as the sleazy door to door salesman.
What's interesting though is the HH's half hearted attempt at selling GreenShift:
'Well that's the plan anyways"
is not exactly a ringing endorsement from the GreenShift pointman and Dion's communications guru.
Garth has sensed that this election is a lost cause for the Libs,he won't have Dion to protect him after he's turfed at the next leadership convention so he has already kick started the back stabbing of his leader in a desperate attempt to curry favour with Rae and/or Ignatieff .
His only hope for re-election is to ramp up his "Peoples Princess" routine and hope enough Haltonians buy it.
Once back as an MP with no responsibilities and desperatly seeking attention he'll start playing footsie again with May .
Then blaming everyone but himself he'll make history as the first MP to sit for 3 different parties.May will make him Financial Critic and everything will be as it should in the world according to Garth.
Esther will end up playing a surprisingly real Norma Desmond in the Milton Players Theatre Group production of "Lakeshore Boulevard"

Nearly a full day later and where are the media flies on this steaming pile of Garth?

Anyone?

Posted by: bob at September 16, 2008 11:49 AM

CBC is p.o'd at Garth! Ormiston posted rebuttal in comments section on his blog...story at Stephen Taylor's

CTV has nothing on it. CTV is, of course, Garth's former employer... probably still has a lot of friends there. Just goes to show what happens when politicians and the parties they represent share a cozy relationship with the media.

addendum...

No sooner than I posted that, CTV Newsnet started and the news anchor started the news by saying, "Stephen Harper is under fire..."

And nothing will be reported about Garth.

So there you go.

Ormiston has it at CBC here:-
