I'm facing an extremely heavy work, travel and dog show schedule for the entirety of the month of September - last week I was working into the wee hours of the morning trying to get deadline work finished, and there's more ahead. This means my time online is limited as is my ability to follow up on your tips and emails.
While I plan to continue blogging as much as possible during this time, our usual cadre of guest bloggers have generously agreed to help out during this busy election season, and for that I thank you again!
Please help them out by staying on topic, and ignoring trolls in the comments. Things should return to normal in October.
As you have just said Kate: "Things should return to normal in October." A Harper majority.
Take care and be well

You should get a cat and save yourself some work. They pretty much take care of themselves.

Never looked at it that way, but I suppose you're right. They expect to be fed, at their leisure; offer nothing in return; and are utterly ungrateful for everything they have.
That does it. I'm putting my little socialist bastard cat to sleep and getting a good old fashioned Tory bull mastiff.
Posted by: Darrell at September 8, 2008 6:33 PMKate: You are one busy person! There are so many supporters of yours out here in the intertubes, if you need some time off, we'll back you a 110%.
First thing I check in the AM and I think I speak for a lot of other posters.
Go Harper!
Go Riders! (for all the expats and still locals)
darrel
down in south america they have 170 lbs dogs they use to hunt puma, one like that could thrive on cat burgers:-)))))
GYM,
Awesome. I bet a dog like that wouldn't even wait for the cat burgers to be cooked. Or dead.
Posted by: Darrell at September 8, 2008 6:56 PMTake care Kate, I'll keep coming out here.
Good Luck with the Shows.

Damn! While your guests are ok at babysitting, there's nothing like having Kate on the watch.

His problem is he cannot read the writing on the WALL!!
Canadians are not afraid, except in East York, where the masses cringe, everyday; hoping to be saved by our man Jack LAY-DOWN. Once his pension is secure, he'll dissappear....faster than a cheerleaders cherry.
You betcha!!
Don't worry, Kate, not a lot going on right now anyway.
Posted by: Peter Jay at September 9, 2008 1:01 AMNormal? Somehow I can't imagine that at SDA.
btw, cats also have shows, fanciers, pedigree papers and even houses!
