An astute observation.

Methinks the St.Valentine's Day massacre might describe it better after Thursday.

Uh-huh.

HRC suffered from the same thing she - as a clinton - has suffered from ever since at least the monica-spit-up thing...

No one believes that she is being sincere in what she is saying. Thus the more she professes her loyalty to BO, the more even the more stalwart Dems suspect that it is just public posturing for 2012.

As a dedicated dog breeder, this comment is especially for you Kate.

The real meaning of DNC is "Dogs Neutered by Convention".

Cheers

M.Vick is a Democrat?

Anyone notice that Hillary was a proud mother, Democrat, etc. but never mentioned being proud to be Big Willie's wife?

The pained look of solidarity on the faces of some of those delegates was priceless. How long before they start eating each other in public?

I love the "caricature." And here I thought that was a Liberal convention in Hamilton!!

WTGR, 'chuffed' means rather pleased with oneself or with events.

HRC did enough to stop the internal bickering, though not much more than that.

While CTV reporters were positively gushy, I felt her speech, while measured and somewhat effective, shouldn't have "brought the house down." She could have done much more, like telling the DNC and Mr Obama that she could be counted on to help wherever needed. OTOH, I didn't see entire speech, so she may have said that.

I did not get that impression, though. HNC, IMO, is positioning herself for another run in 2012.

ex president cornpone and the ex first lady macbeth are scheming triangulating and figgering the odds like the utterly unscrupulous self worshipping buggers they are...

Maybe Hillery and Slick Willie are done.
Hillery is not proud of her wifely duties, or she would have said so.
Her marriage deal was rumoured to have been reshaped with the adding of the "semen streaked dress" to the original bilateral agreement.

He stands beside her while she makes a run for the brass ring in 2008 and for that she does not leave him while he's POTUS at his darkest hour.
Stand by your man, and I'll stand by you.
If they made a deal way back when he was getting Lewinskied and crucified for it, perhaps the terms of the agreement have been met.
