I recall when the climate change alarmists were predicting widespread drought and desertification of the south and central USA as well as the North Central Plains and Canada's prairies .... Magazines had lots of photos of dry and dusty fields or shrunken river channels.

Probably not, since they seem to think that ocean levels can rise in one or two select locations (SW Pacific and Bangladesh) and not everywhere else. When will we see the predicted flooding of Manhattan?
