Unfair, Mean, and Just Plain Delicious

Sometimes scraping the bottom of the barrel is just too much fun:

Who knew that "my father was a mill worker" could be such a great pickup line?

[...]

Even more suspicious, while Edwards was barricaded in the bathroom, no one reported hearing sounds of a blow dryer.

[...]

He couldn't have looked more guilty if he had broken into a cold sweat and lit a cigarette. Britney Spears has responded more credibly to questions about tabloid stories.

[...]

If only Republican Larry Craig had been in the bathroom, the MSM might have covered it.

2800 plus comments at the site - the largest number i have ever seen on a blog post.

so I guess this means his chances of being selected by Obama as his VP running mate are now between zero & nil.

As Ann once pointed out, between Clinton/Edwards and their dalliances, vs Sandy Burger stuffing classified documents down his pants, you don't know if you should keep a liberal out of trouble by telling him to take it out of his pants or by telling him to put it back in.

Coulter is unique, I look forward to her column every week. A few times I wished she hadn't said some things, but there's always been a context for those remarks and usually she's hit a deserving target anyway.
My favorite Coulter comment: liberals want to fight every war, except the one we're currently fighting.

Nobody says it better than Ann Coulter.

Edwards should find a new line of work!

Now visit Dust My Broom for another non media story about the Big O.

The story about Edwards' mistress was in the tabloids, then the mainstream media picked up on it.

Yet no-one has picked up on the myriad tabloid stories about Bush's drinking and supposed divorce from his wife.

Liberal media again.

reason,

GWB made no secret about his boozing. Now what did you expect the media to do with his "supposed divorce?" I've heard BHO is supposed to be a bed wetter and a drooler. Now let's see if the media pick that up.

Please explain. How is Coulter unfair? Granted, this article is nothing like friendly or sympathetic. I also don't see where she exaggerates (except for a punchline), misleads, twists the truth or otherwise "scrapes the bottom of the barrel." It is a hard-hitting article about a situation that deserves to be hit hard.

How is it unfair?

Roscoe

Talkin' about tabloid stories of Bush's active alcoholism now, while he's in office.

Posted by: reason at August 5, 2008 2:10 AM

Pete E, thats sarcasm and what you would expect a Dem/Liberal to scream out, did you miss the "Just Plain Delicious" at the end there?

Reason - it looks like you missed Rosco's explanation, if someone admits they have a drinking problem it ceases being news, even if they have one... if someone denies having a mistress when its apparent they do, then it becomes news - see the difference.... Now if Edwards had admitted he had a mistress it might have stopped being news, right after it ruined his career.
