Some might point out that the seeds for this started in August 2006, which coincides with the seeds of an NDP defeat as well.
:)
Posted by: Andrew at July 28, 2008 1:29 AMEverything in this fine province is getting better and better and it's great to see it happening. And as long as Dion's green shaft stays where it belongs (on the drawing board) we should continue to see our economy and population grow for many years.
Posted by: The_Watchman at July 28, 2008 1:29 AMIs this the green shift?
Posted by: Cardstonkid at July 28, 2008 1:57 AMbombers will kill them come fall. haha
Posted by: reg dunlop at July 28, 2008 2:48 AMDang, CFL western conference is just owning the east.
Posted by: CJ at July 28, 2008 3:24 AMThat Mr Dion is what a real "Green Shift" looks like and works like { as a team not placing one side of the line against the other}!
Posted by: Scott at July 28, 2008 3:50 AMWho are these Guys?
they lose their Coach & QB & still roll
GO GREEN
"Good things happen when you dump the NDP!"
Yaaaaaay!
Saskatchewan wins again!
It's not fair!
Do you think it's Izzy to make parities? We must shift player wealth from provinces that have good team and fans. Only then can CFL be revenue neutral and have all bad team.
Nah, that Roughriders victory is entirely due to the residual trans-national halo glow from the Obammessiah.
I also have an inside tip from the Obama Politburo that when he's crowned President, the Blue Jays are to win the World Series next season.
As far as the Montreal Canadiens winning the Stanley Cup, fraid not. Even a Deity has His limits! :-)
Posted by: Dave in Pa. at July 28, 2008 8:37 PMLooking good, untill they meet the "Big Red Machine"
Look for 5-2 in two weeks time ;-)
OTOH, Another broken ankle and 3 broke ribs???
Down to your third string QB?
How can you guys keep up this pace.
Hope your boys get healthy real soon, same for J. Tucker.
See you in Calgary Saturday night!!
Cheers
Peter
Well if we too could dump the socialist horde (AKA the PROGRESSIVE conservatives) here in Wild Rose Country the Green & Gold and Red & White might make a comeback.
Posted by: Mike T at July 28, 2008 10:02 PMCongratulations to the Riders and their fans on the great start to the CFL season. They deserve it!
However, I have a major bone to pick with the league. I have watched portions of the Calgary-Winnepeg, Edmonton-Ticats and Lions-Als games this past week. I have seen refereeing that makes our great Canadian game become a bush league. In each case a blown call has led to a major change in momentum in the game. These guys can't even get a replay call right. How emarrassing!
Get better refs and this game will go to the next level. Keep these bums and I'm tuning out!

This is an almost less than part time jobs for the refs. Low pay equals low grade refs.
But I agree, some times it sure looks bush.
