Is there nothing Obama can't do?
"Now, in terms of knowing my commitments, you don't have to just look at my words, you can look at my deeds. Just this past week, we passed out of the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, which is my committee, a bill to call for divestment from Iran, as a way of ratcheting up the pressure to ensure that they don't obtain a nuclear weapon."
Sanctions were such a sanctamonious failure against Saddam that you would think liberals would be ashamed to bring them up again. But liberals believe in ideas, not evidence and reality. Look at Obama's "we don't know for sure I was wrong" statement.
It is as if Obama believes that the parties in Iraq were afraid to fight, and would cave like he would in their shoes if we cut and ran. The thing about this is that Obama would last about ten minutes as a leader in that environment as he would be killed almost instantly due to his terminal stupidity.

Love, or infatuation, is blind, isn't it?
Posted by: mark peters at July 24, 2008 8:16 AMCan you imagine the look of shock and disbelief if he is not the winner in November. And what if, Hillory gets the nomination, some super delegates are already jumping off the bus.
His trip overseas is getting some unkind coverage by some in the media as overcoverage by the networks and it could cause a huge backlash against him.
Obama is a serial liar. It is shocking enough that this Empty Suit is within striking distance of the White house, but, the real sickening part of all of this is that the press refuses to hold his feet to the fire.
If any entity is most guilty of undermining democracy in America, make that everywhere in the west, it's the MSM. Obama is just a symptom.
Posted by: penny at July 24, 2008 9:18 AMI forgot, on the left side of the political spectrum, the good-looking can never be stupid.
Posted by: Tim in Vermont at July 24, 2008 9:49 AM"President Obama"............."President Obama"............no, can't say I like the sound of THAT!
Hope we're not hearing it on a daily basis starting in November. ;-)
Posted by: dmorris at July 24, 2008 9:52 AMWhat a joke. GE is one of the biggest Biz in Iran and guess who the gives a bunch of cash to? Hmmm Dem's. Your cutting off you money.
Granted. I just bet you that GE is not one of the biz that this law will hit.
Obama sure gets around.
I we in Ameerican elect this fool. Then we deserve all the 'heck' he gives us.
