Whatever the military success, and progress that may have been made, the surge didn’t accomplish its goal. And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians-they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities-the Iranians.
Nancy Pelosi is the daughter of a well known Baltimore Socialist family... That says it all!

Last time I checked the responsibility for foreign affairs rests with the Secretary of State rather than the House Speaker.

A funny description at the time, but now the barn is really burning, and she's adding to the damage as she runs.
