(Afterwards, read the review).
Posted by Kate at March 28, 2008 1:26 AMThe only thing that surprises me, is that no one had a global warming rally that day.
Posted by: Revnant Dream at March 28, 2008 3:35 AMYou know,I was just wondering. How many climate change/GW believers(?) would be screaming bloody blue murder if somebody started taking temps inside fridges and reported them as PROOF the earth was cooling? Which reminds me,gotta up my shares of stocks in company's that make snow-blowers.
Posted by: Justthinkin at March 28, 2008 6:28 AMForget about it, Jake. It's Chinatown.
Posted by: muttsrus at March 28, 2008 7:53 AMAny bets on how long it'll be until denying global warming gets you a CHRC complaint?
Posted by: The Phantom at March 28, 2008 8:24 AMPhantom - Any bets on how long it'll be until denying global warming gets you a CHRC complaint?
Umm, I'm betting that the 1st western world legal case for this will happen in the next year (2008).
I doubt however, that the CHRC will get the 1st stab, too much rides on it for the lefties and the CHRC simply have no credibility left at all.
Al Gore is leading the charge on this again, at CBS (what a surprise):

Posted by: Bill D. Cat at March 28, 2008 10:06 AMLOL, Anthony, great report!
This blows any pretense at following a true scientific method out of the 'parking lot, doesn't it?
Now, not only have they changed one control factor, they have created another variable.
How could anyone trust the results?
Unless, well, you know...
If the data doesn't fit your bias, force the issue.
There are lies, damn lies, and statistics.
In fact, stats should be mandatory to graduate from high school for the sole reason of teaching the kiddies to be sceptical. I'd say that 90% of Canadians are entirely ignorant of the problems with stats and 99.9% are ignorant of modelling and sensitivity issues. I'd also suggest that there are far too many "scientists" who don't understand the math they work with day-to-day.
Posted by: Warwick at March 28, 2008 11:36 AMAs usial GREENPEACE and AL GORE will be blabbering about this global warming poppycock bull kaka
Posted by: Spurwing Plover at March 28, 2008 12:09 PMOh come on, you guys!
Can't you imagine that concrete is exactly the same as CO2, and causes the same climate changes as CO2?
Gorezuki climate science is soooo simple.
You just have to know how to ignore the inconvenient thingys.
Posted by: rockyt at March 28, 2008 12:13 PMMeanwhile we are getting a spring snow storm out here on the left coast, guess we can use some of the carbon tax revenue for snow removal.
Posted by: h.ryan. at March 28, 2008 12:58 PMI always wondered when I was living in CA (Redondo beach) the two areas would have such a huge difference in temps. Now I know.
Gezzz
Posted by: Lee at March 28, 2008 1:15 PMHaving lived in Edmonton for quite a few years I continue to be amazed at the variation in temperatures between the Edmonton downtown airport and the Edmonton International airport. Inevitably the temp at the downtown airport is between 2 - 10 degrees warmer in the winter though not as much during the summer. Something they call urban heat island I believe.
Posted by: Joe at March 28, 2008 1:46 PMSelf-avowed "P.R. agent for the planet" Al Gore says those who still doubt that global warming is caused by man - among them, Vice President Dick Cheney - are acting like the fringe groups who think the 1969 moon landing never really happened, or who once believed the world is flat.
