Wow, she is quite the piece of work. Won't she make a great first lady in the White House. Here's hoping more media exposes her racism but I'm not holding my breath.

The blogosphere knew about that lunatic church leader of his, and were posting about it, last year.
But now that he is looking like a serious contender for the world's most serious job, it is impossible to hide the many problems that he presents, his toxic wife being only a small part of it.

Typical liberal, hypocrit, racist, hatemonger.
It's amazing that if she were white, Kinsella and the bathroom brigade would be painting her as the next coming of hitler. Why is it different because she's a black woman?

Posted by: Lee at March 27, 2008 12:28 PMHaven't been back to this blog in a while and now I remember why. The "opinions" of the contributors are all very predictable --do any of you have an original thought? It appears not. I am sure Kate didn't create this blog to gather sheep but to try to put topics up for discussion rather than have you just nod and agree. This blogsite has lost its purpose--sad but true.
I don't want her, we get enough hatred hurled at us in Canada if we look white. She's a racist bigot as is her husband, I'm tired of being told I offend people because of the color of my skin. It's okay to hurl racist remarks at whites, but if a White person were to respond in kind the leftards would have him jailed for a life time. More hypocrisy from the left, I have no idea why they hate their white selves or why they allow blacks to hurl racist remarks at us cartblanc. Self loathing and inner hatred I suppose, or they never stopped bed wetting is plausable.
Posted by: Rose at March 27, 2008 12:30 PMThat video is very disturbing. Reminds me of college lectures, being told how it was my fault the rainforest of Brazil was going to disappear. Especially the silence of the audience trying to comprehend what obtuse rationale she has for projecting her idea of racial harmony onto cafeteria seating patterns.
I would never throw my grandmother and her generation's views under the bus as Barack did, and I lost respect for him.
His wife's opinions do not reflect the public's reasons for embracing his campaign - successful Americans like(d) Obama because he is proof race does NOT impede progress.
His wife's attitude reminds not all of us succeed based on ability alone. Some blame the system, while working it to the hilt for their career.
I agree with Opus Maximus - it's a package deal, and many voters overlooked Dubya's weaknesses because Laura was just so nice. Tipper Gore and Teresa Heinz weren't big advantages for their husband's campaigns, and both of them could have won.
Bubba could have played a positive role, but instead of lightly accentuating the positives of having an experienced foreign policy hand around who had learned his lessons about genocide and terrorist prevention, and not counting on the UN to lead anything, he attacked Obama and made Barack's positive message stand out.

A year or so ago I was in WA state outside of a convenience store after buying some bottled water. A huge, brand new (white?) SUV pulled up. Black couple. He was friendly as all get out, beamed a big honest smile and chatted me up briefly (I was on a ride, reviewing a map) and then entered the store. His wife, however, draped in the most exquisite designer threads and bedecked with pricey jewelry, remained in the vehicle and literally glowered at me. I'll never lose this image and Michelle Obama keeps it fresh.
BLT (Black Liberartion Theology) is just as ugly as Islam, making those earlier debates about B. Hussein's faith mute. One of its tenets is a rejection of "middle-classness".

An Open Letter to the Democratic Party
By Lt. Colonel Frances Rice,U.S. Army Retired: Contributor to the LHI
...
"We, African American citizens of the United States, declare and assert:
Whereas in the early 1600's 20 African men and women were landed in Virginia from a Dutch ship as slaves and from that tiny seed grew the poisoned fruit of plantation slavery which shaped the course of American development,
[...]
Whereas the Democratic Party fought to expand slavery and, after the Civil War, established Jim Crow Laws, Black Codes and other repressive legislation that were designed to disenfranchise African Americans,
Whereas the Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist arm of the Democratic Party, and their primary goal was to intimidate and terrorize African American voters, Republicans who moved South to protect African Americans and any other whites who supported them,
Whereas, according to leading historians (both black and white), the horrific atrocities committed against African Americans during slavery and Reconstruction were financed, sponsored, and promoted by the Democratic Party and their Ku Klux Klan supporters,
[...]Whereas Democratic Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry Truman rejected anti-lynching laws and efforts to establish a permanent Civil Rights Commission,
[...] Whereas Democratic President John F. Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil Rights Law, opposed the 1963 March on Washington by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and was later criticized by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. for ignoring civil rights issues.
[...] Whereas when the 1964 Civil Rights Act came up for vote, Senator Al Gore, Sr. and the rest of the Southern Democrats voted against the bill,
Whereas in the House of Representatives only 61 percent of the Democrats voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Act as compared to 80 percent of Republicans, and in the Senate only 69 percent of the Democrats voted for the 1964 Civil Rights Act, compared to 82 percent of the Republicans,
Whereas Democratic President Bill Clinton sent troops to Europe to protect the citizens of Bosnia and Kosovo while allowing an estimated 800,000 black Rwandans to be massacred in Africa, vetoed the welfare reform law twice before signing it, and refused to comply with a court order to have shipping companies develop an Affirmative Action Plan,
[...] Whereas the Democratic Party's soft bigotry of low expectations and social promotions have consigned African Americans to economic bondage and created a culture of dependency on government social programs,
[...] Now, therefore, for the above and other documented atrocities and accumulated wrongs inflicted upon African Americans, we demand a formal written apology and other appropriate remuneration from the leadership of the Democratic party.

"Michelle Obama was talking about how people tend to segregate themselves, and that they should stop. BFD."
Hey Justin, this is why people dislike bigmouth liberals.
Get a clue.
The reason this blog exists is because it is a BFD what the language-policing, politically-correct Librano mafia has done to our country, and why it is such a monumental achievement to have some common sense injected back into the MSM and Gov't, that it requires activist vigilance to keep "statism" from creeping back into our lives.

I suggest you shop around for somewhere that you may be more welcomed and can feel comfortable, my I suggest Africa. Apparently apartheid does not exist in South Africa anymore or you can dine with Mugabe in Zimbabwe, he may even award you some farmland repatriated from those evil white people.
We have no use for you - apparently neither does our American friends nor would any nation uninterested in your pathetic racist rhetoric meant to divide a country.

she is standing up in front of a group of black women (most likely a diverse group - not all as rich or as well-educated as she)peaking out to them about (your words) "stereotyping other Americans and that they also need to change their misconceptions" and you ask: "this is a bad thing to say, why exactly???"
Yes, Ted, I'd say in her case it is condescending and hypocritical.
