Shades of Hitler. Translation please. Can anyone give us an idea as to what he is actually saying?

Posted by: a different Bob at February 17, 2008 10:20 AM

It's a motoon rally.

Posted by: Paul2 at February 17, 2008 10:27 AM

I wonder how many people here look at the video, shudder inwardly, but don't have the courage to type in what they really think about what they are seeing, and what the future will bring to, and how it should be dealt with before it becomes a problem.

Truth is, Levant and Steyn's battles notwithstanding, we have already lost freedom of speech in this country. The censors and human rights "protectors" are everywhere. All we have now is freedom of thought and freedom to vote.

There are some comments that describe the flag colours as symbols of Mohammed's 'call to arms' at Mecca.

My point is that these are thugs, criminals. They aren't really reactions to the republication of the Danish cartoons so much as they are pure gang type behaviour which moves into violence against 'others' at the drop of a hat.

The West, the Danes, have to stand up for freedom. That includes freedom of speech, the necessity for reason and debate, and the protection of this mode against the "Might Makes Right' ideology of thugs and criminals.

Speaking of 'Might Makes Right', Ezra Levant has posted the latest revelation about Soharwardy on his blog. Apparently, a number of people at the 'charitable' mosque/association run by Soharwardy in Calgary, have complained that:
- there was no audit for monies raised by this association;
- no charitable receipts were ever issued, despite requests for them;
- requests for election of management was denied

Apparently, these people filed a complaint that this Association, Soharwardy's Al-Madinah mosque, wasn't really a charitable institution because they couldn't get any information of accountability for the monies.
Soharwardy filed a 'defamation' suit against them, claiming their accusations were harming his reputation.
This group has readily defended themselves, repeating their insistence that a charitable institution has to have a public account..

Now, one of the complainants has been beaten up with the attackers telling her that the come from Al-Madinah.

Might Makes Right?

Posted by: ET at February 17, 2008 10:33 AM

Well, ET, we're Westerners. We have NO right to criticize a culture that is equal or superior to ours. Especially since we've been so darn Hard on them the past century or two.

*gag*

But just TRY to have a counter demonstration in that country... or protest their actions in OUR countries.

Something else - about the illogical Warren Kinsella.

He's posting hate mail that he receives. Now, many bloggers, public figures, etc, receive hate mail. They don't focus on it, brood over it, post it. Why does Warren do all of this?

He then declares that this hate mail is indicative of the necessity for the HRAct and its 'hate message' section.
Warren's 'reasoning' is that IF a government DOES NOT punish and forbid 'hate speech', THEN, the sender will move into violence.

There is absolutely no proof of such a connection; that is:
IF you allow hate speech, THEN, violence will result.

After all, this would also mean:
If you forbid freedom of expression (of anger), then, there will be no violence anymore.

Warren 'thinks' that if you forbid expressions of hatred/anger, then, the Sender will move into debate!

Warren doesn't think. Doesn't he know that the type of person who sends hate messages is not someone who wants to or is capable of debate?

Gosh ... anyone who has ever seen Hitler video of ranting will immediately recognize the similarity!

a different bob said,

... Translation please. Can anyone give us an idea as to what he is actually saying?

They are saying,

we love Jews and Christians,
we are against any form of violence,
we are for woman's emancipation,
we want women to wear western clothes to get a western education,
we radically oppose clitoris excisions and will report to the authorities any one who still does them,
we love western civilization and want to be part of it
as assimilated - in the good sense - Europeans and productive citizens of a western nation,
we have no problem with muslims converting to other religions or becoming atheists,
we want to reform Islam
we admit Mohamed was a violent pedophile and Islam has a history of violence,
we are sorry for having waged war against Europe and occupied good parts of it for so many centuries and we understand the popes of those times had no choice but to approve of the crusades which were totally justified,
we are sorry for having invaded and occupied Spain for seven centuries,
we admit we have a long history of using human slaves and we now totally disapporve of the practice,
we will kick out any radicals from our community or report them to authorities,
we do not mind seeing images of Mohamed,
we do not mind piggy banks,
we will eat bacon from now on

In fact why don't we all go for a bacon cheese burger right now!!!

I don't speak Arabic but if I am to believe what the MSM and the average liberal multi-culti are telling us - and why would I not believe them? - that is what they are saying.

( Disclaimer; this is sarcasm )

Thanks Friend of USA. I can rest easy now.

Posted by: a different Bob at February 17, 2008 12:21 PM

Ummm... that doesn't sound like Arabic. It's probably Danish. Sounds Scandinavian at any rate. And its a protest about the cartoon being reprinted, most likely. Isn't that what they're supposed to do? Have a protest, boycott, otherwise express themselves peacefully? Now they get mocked and compared to Hitler, because you didn't understand what he was saying, and you don't understand what this video is saying, so they must be similar?

I'll wait for the translation, and if he's calling for the offices of the Newspapers that reprinted the cartoon to be burned to the ground I'll apologize to you all. I'm in Scandinavia right now actually, so I should be able to find someone to tell me what's being said.

Meanwhile the "youths" of Copenhagen are out displaying the appropriate reaction to this - they're out burning cars.

http://canadianpress.google.com/article/ALeqM5g3zl03ekDqgTt-qnltxnSAj6SwoQ

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - A wave of vandalism continued across Denmark for a seventh consecutive night, officials said Sunday.

Eleven people were arrested on suspicion of vandalizing and torching schools, cars and garbage containers, with 25 small fires burning overnight, police said. The unrest - largely in immigrant neighborhoods - has spread through Copenhagen and across Denmark.

Posted by: TimR at February 17, 2008 12:42 PM

Arthur A - "Have a protest, boycott, otherwise express themselves peacefully? Now they get mocked and compared to Hitler, [...] and you don't understand what this video is saying [...]"

The War Flag of the Caliphate: White Shahada on Black --> the backdrop used in a 1998 al-Qaida news conference where sheikh Usama declares his jihad against America. (Also in video shots of some of the pre-2001 Afghan training camps)

The State Flag of the Caliphate: Black Shahada on White --> the flag of our Taliban enemies in Kandahar.

I understand what the video is saying.

Posted by: jwkozak91 at February 17, 2008 12:52 PM

Substitute the white flags for Nazi party flags - the ideology, and the black flags for the Ensign of the World War II Kreigsmarine - the spear of the ideology, then the comparison with Copenhagen during the Jew-hating Nazi occupation is particularly apt.

Posted by: jwkozak91 at February 17, 2008 1:11 PM

Video is not available any longer.

Somehow I think I'd be able to guess correctly on what they were saying.

Headcoppers unite?

...yeah.

Posted by: ldd at February 17, 2008 1:38 PM

The audio wasn't very clear, but I thought I caught "Ein Reich, Ein Volk, Ein Fuhrer."

Or words to that effect.

Posted by: gordinkneehill at February 17, 2008 1:38 PM

Arthur: Adolf's speeches were seldom threatening. They were all platitudes, glory, Germany, about "Triumph of the Will". ... all about Germany's return to prosperity and its rightful place in the world. In fact, most Islamist rhetoric is far more violent and directly threatening.

"Progressive" denial is stunning. If it were applied to daily life, instead of geopolitics, it'd be a mental disorder.

Posted by: Paul2 at February 17, 2008 1:45 PM

The video is back up. They just changed the code a bit to make the frame bigger. I re-entered the new code, and all is well.

Posted by: Paul2 at February 17, 2008 1:49 PM

Arthur A - you're right, I don't understand what is being said however I have seen more than enough of Adolph films with his rants before thousands of his troups. In this case I'd bet you my mother-in-law for yours that the speaker is not inviting the editors of the newspapers to lunch. That's a bet you don't want to loose! LOL

The comparison to Hitler and his rants go to the ferver and crowd hysteria.

Posted by: a different Bob at February 17, 2008 2:17 PM

The one thing I did understand was "Allahu akbar!"

Posted by: fox2! at February 17, 2008 2:45 PM

Could Kinsellout write his own hate comments? Certainly!

Nothing un-LIEberal about that.

Posted by: eastern paul at February 17, 2008 3:01 PM

That was impossible to watch beyond 15 seconds.

For my mind slips to strafing and that's psychologically unhealthy.

Posted by: Bour3 at February 17, 2008 3:04 PM

I admit I only watched about 15 seconds as well...

How long does one has to stare at the stool in the toilet to know it stinks?

Posted by: Friend of USA at February 17, 2008 3:58 PM

Are we sure this wasn't filmed in Nuremburg? It sounded eerily familiar apart from the "Aloha snackbar" reference. These buggers are getting out of hand and I reckon in five or ten years time it's going to get seriously ugly in Europe.

Posted by: Call me Infidel at February 18, 2008 9:42 AM

Sounded very m,uch like a Nazi rally from the 'thirties. Instead of Heil Furher!, it's Allah Akbar!

I guess the game is on.

Posted by: RW at February 18, 2008 4:32 PM

The photographer is certainly no Leni Riefenstahl. The flags sometimes look like pointy hats at a Klan rally. I have seen the future.

Posted by: Doubting Thomas at February 19, 2008 1:50 AM

It would sure be nice to have a translation of the speaker's words. I'm sure they aren't friendly, but I guarantee the Libs I get to view this will poo-poo the whole thing, without that.
